The nurse Hanan treats Fawzi with kindness, much to the jealousy of Awatef, while Fawzi feels a strong attraction towards the nurse, not knowing that she is married and has a child.
Awatef tells her brother about her doubts about Hanan and her jealousy over her husband, who refuses to be discharged from the hospital, while Hanan meets the colleague of her husband Adnan, who sends her some things.
As Fawzi confesses his love to Hanan, he tells her that he knows about her husband, who traveled away and abandoned her, while she learns from her husband's friend that he has decided not to return to Iraq for good.
Amna quarrels with a patient, so she leaves work despite her being in need, after which Hanan takes her back to the hospital and reconciles her with the patient, while Haitham admires her and tries to get close to her.
Fawzi returns home and feels that he misses Hanan, while his wife tries to be nice to him after feeling jealous over him. He goes to meet Hanan, who confronts him and asks him to stay away from her.
Farouk is saddened by his mother's refusal to let him marry his colleague in the hospital. Awatef refuses to sell the house, despite Fahem's insistence, but she does not want to deceive Fawzi.
Fawzi reconciles with his wife, Awatef, following her pregnancy. As Hanan travels to meet her husband, whom she finds in a miserable condition, he tells her that he decided to let her return to Iraq.
