When the fishermen ask Master Salama to raise their wages, Salama talks to Zanaty about the fishermen's demands, but Zanaty rebuffs him. Rabab refuses to work for Salama's wife.

Zanaty threatens Nazim when the latter demands the fishermen's rights. When Salama accuses Rabab of having an affair with Zakzouk, she admits to Salama's wife that Salama has asked her to marry him.

As Zakzouk proposes to Rabab, Zanaty's men try to kidnap Rabab and make it appear that she is having an affair with Zakzouk, but Anis saves her. Zanaty fires Al-Hadidy. Salama rebels against Zanaty and rallies the fisherman to him.

Hanifa refuses to get back together with Mansour. Dandorma discovers that Altaf asked Dokamy to spy on Zanaty. Al-Hadidy joins Salama after Zanaty fires him.

Zanaty fires Dandorma. As Abdu falls ill after his daughter's scandal with Zanaty, he gets Ansi to take over the management of his store. Ansi proposes to Rabab.

Zanaty talks to Abdu about marrying Hanifa to Ansi. Salama refuses to distribute his ships among the fishermen and give them their rights. Nazim gathers the fishermen to help them against Salama.

Zanaty convinces Hanifa to marry Ansi. Altaf stipulates that Zanaty must write over half of his ships and his house over to her to get back together with him. Ansi rejects Zanaty's proposal to Hanifa and informs him of his engagement to Rabab.

Sayed survives from an arrest attempt as he joins the resistance. Al-Hadidy passes away. Nazim asks Ansi to make haste in the matter of his marriage to Rabab. Hanifa stipulates that she must be able to divorce Ansi whenever she wishes.

Rabab is shocked when she learns about Ansi's engagement to Hanifa, accusing him of causing her father's death. When Ansi causes a scandal for Rabab and accuses her of being unchaste, Sayed helps Rabab run away.

When Rabab starts working for Kamilia in Cairo, she refuses to join her in her illegal work, which leads Kamilia to accuse her of theft. Aziz saves Rabab from having to work for Harun and Kamilia.

As Rabab moves in with Aziz to look after him, he ends up marrying her. When Rabab inherits Aziz's money when he passes away, she rebuffs Harun and Kamilia's attempt to get close to her and threatens to have them locked up. Rabab adopts Narjis.

Zanaty and Salama lose their fortune. Salama's wife passes away. When Rabab declares her intent to return to her hometown and help the people, Zanaty comes up with a plan to seize Rabab's fortune.

As Rabab gets close to Ansi to take revenge on him for what he did to her in the past, she tells everyone that she wrote all her fortune over to Narjis. Narjis tells Zanaty that she wants to wed his son, Sayed. Hanifa and Ansi get divorced.

Salama and Zanaty compete over Narjis. As Rabab discovers that Dondorma has become disabled, she gathers the people around and recounts her story, offering them money in exchange for helping her get back at Ansi.

When Salama refuses to protect Ansi, the latter runs away to avoid being killed by the people. Zanaty kills Altaf and kills himself. Rabab promises everyone to turn over a new leaf and help them with their problems.
