Dhafer demands that his grandfather, the tribe's leader, tell him information about his father's family, and he decides to go out to search for them. At a time when Maliha's heart is set on Azzam, the latter falls in love with his cousin Bashayer.

Bashayer's mother scolds Maliha for trying to get close to Azzam. Dhafer saves Bashayer's father's sheep from being stolen and is taken with his daughter Bashayer.

Dhafer continues on his way searching for his family, and confesses his love to Bashayer, who refuses to marry Azzam.

Dhafer loses consciousness and Bashayer saves him. Doctor Ayyad reveals that Dhafer is Bashayer's cousin.
