Hamad asks his father to stay in his house. Hamad's wife Tayba rejects her son working as a football player and her daughter Bashayir's desire to become a journalist. Sherifa asks for the hand of Tayba's daughter, Tahany, for her son Ahmed.
A problem arises between Tayba and Hamad regarding the marriage of their daughter Tahany to Ahmed. Falah is upset when he learns of their approval, despite the fact that Tahany's family rejected him when he proposed to her.
Tahany marries Ahmed and they travel for their honeymoon. Ahmed's mother begins to control their lives, so Tayba resorts to witchery to keep her away from Tahany. Bashayir insists on joining the journalistic field and pursue a career in it.
When Salem returns from traveling, his mother tells him that his father has suffered great losses and wants him to run the factory and the company instead of him. Bashayir gets acquainted with the journalist Gamal while working for the newspaper.
Tayba quarrels with her daughter over her insistence on leaving the newspaper. Hamad returns from traveling and takes over the work of the company with his son. Secretary Atiyat is considering to resign. Salem leaves the company after quarreling with his father. Gamal proposes to marry Bashayir.
As Tahany suffers from the interference of her mother-in-law in her life, she quarrels with her and leaves the house. Ahmed asks Tahany's father to intervene in the matter.
Bashayir marries Gamal, and upon their return from their honeymoon, she suffers from his constant control. Sherifa tries to drive a wedge between Ahmed and his wife Tahany.
Tahany falsely claims that she's pregnant in order to make her mother-in-law leave her alone, and her grandfather blames her for lying. Bashayir still resents Gamal's behaviors and his jealousy.
Ahmed and Tahany are surprised after his mother leaves the house. Bashayir is upset when Gamal complains to her mother, and after finding out of his relationship with another woman.
The quarrels continue between Tahany and her mother-in-law, who is also resorting to charlatanism so that Tahany will love her. Gamal and Bashayir argue again over their jealousy and their loss of confidence in each other.
Salem tells his sister Bashayir that his father's factory will be sold at public auction. Hamad suffers a heart attack and is transferred to the hospital. Salem stipulates that if he returns to the management of the company, no one should interfere in his decisions.
As Salem returns to the company, his father gets upset. Gamal suspects that Bashayir is having an affair.
Nasser tries to advise Gamal to treat his sister better and not to doubt her. Gamal insists that his sister must quit her job at the newspaper.
Salem fires the secretary Atiyat, and so is half of the employees in the company. When Sherifa discovers that Tahany is not pregnant, she kicks her out of the house. As everyone is surprised by the wealth of Falah, Tayba looks forward to marrying him to Tahany after her divorce from Ahmed.
As Gamal monitors Bashayir, the conflict between them intensifies, and she thinks about divorce. Gamal begins to attack her brother Nasser, the football player, after he used to write about him in the newspaper as being the best player. Ahmed reconciles with Tahany.
As Nasser suffers from a narrow heart valve, he asks his grandfather not to tell anyone until he plays his last match and undergoes surgery. Tahany and Ahmed mend their relationship, and so do Salem and his father after the company declares bankruptcy.
