Yvette refuses her son Abed's request to sell the farm so that he can travel to France and marry Jacqueline, so Jacob seeks to exploit his need and convince him to work with the Egyptians and help him travel to France.

Abed travels and meets the embassy officer Adel, who agrees with him to meet Youssef, the Egyptian intelligence officer, and Abed asks Jacqueline to return with him to Israel to get married.

Youssef agrees with Abed to cooperate against Israel, to become a spy for Egypt and to gather information about the military port in Haifa, and Salome seeks to get closer to Abed after her divorce.

Isaac asks Jacob to mediate with Abed to partner with him in the candy factory, and Abed agrees to carry out Youssef's request. Moreover, Jacob tells Abed of his desire to marry his aunt Claire.

As Jacob and Claire's wedding takes place, Abed travels to France with Isaac to open the factory, Abed and Jacqueline's relationship becomes tense and he breaks up with her, and then he meets Youssef in Belgium.

Abed's training begins, and Youssef names him David Canaan. Abed prepares to send and receive information from Youssef.

Yvette tells Jacob of her concern about Abed's recent incomprehensible behavior, and Abed continues to be trained to use his memory to memorize information, and is put under intense pressure to ensure his loyalty to Egypt.

Youssef consoles Abed for Jacqueline's estrangement from him, and reveals to him her many love affairs. Youssef asks Abed to continue working at the sweets factory, and to buy a new car to ship to Israel. Moreover, Abed meets Diana.

Abed meets Tawfiq, a worker at the Israeli military port, and Abed rents an apartment to live in in Haifa to be the headquarters for his new work with Jacob.

As Abed tells Jacob about Claire's past and her suicide attempts, Jacob remembers his agreement with Officer Adham to work as a spy for Egypt. In the meantime, Abed worries about Officer Giora's visit to his house.

Abed tells Jacob about Giora's visit to him and his search for the reason for his sudden wealth. Abed sends the first letter to Yousef from Haifa. Abed strengthens his relationship with Tawfiq. With Salome's marriage to a contractor, Abed gathers information about the Israeli army building a dam on the front.

Jacob blames Abed for being late in sending a message to Youssef, so Youssef asks Abed to meet him in Paris. Abed is surprised when Giora asks him to inform him of any Arab he knows in Paris who he suspects of dealing with the Egyptians. Isaac employs Paulina in the factory.

Abed meets Monique and gets to know her after she tells him the secret between him and Youssef. Yvette falls ill and Adham orders Abed to return to Haifa.

Abed recruits Tawfiq to help him gather information about the port after learning that he is Palestinian. Abed gives Giora gifts to win him. Abed meets Tzipora and she tells him that her fiancé works in customs.

Tzipora tries to convince Abed to work in facilitating the entry of anything into Israel in exchange for money, and Giora offers Abed to travel with him to Sinai, and tells him about his dealings with a double agent in Arish named Abu Rabie.

Isaac marries Paulina, and Adham tells Youssef about Hassan's work for them and reassures him on his part, and informs him of the presence of a new shipment of planes in the port of Haifa. Youssef asks Abed to stay in Israel, and Abed tries to get close to Monique.

Abed hires Anna as his maid, and asks Giora to look for her mother. Giora tries to get close to Diana, whom Abed asks to help him obtain passports under false names.

Abed hides his marriage to Paulina from Rachel, Isaac's wife. Tzipora introduces her fiancé, Mazen, who works on the Israeli border, to Abed to work with him. Youssef puts Tawfiq to a difficult test to confirm his loyalty to Egypt.

As Abed travels to France and marries Monique, Abed quarrels with Isaac over the loss of the candy factory. Youssef asks Abed to woo Salome, whose husband works for a construction company on the border.

Abed makes peace between himself and Isaac, and returns to Israel with Monique. Salome introduces her husband Gabriel to Abed to work with him, and Abed tells Rachel about the death of her husband Isaac.

Adel meets Mazen , who is in disguise as a businessman named Arthur to agree with Abed on the information he will bring him, and Giora tries to find out any information about Abed losing his factory in France.

Mazen hands the goods to Abed, who asks Tawfiq to deliver them to the border. Tawfiq takes advantage of an Israeli officer sitting next to him on the bus and claims that the bag is his.

Giora agrees to work with Abed in the contracting field, and Abed travels to Cyprus to meet Youssef, who warns him against working with Giora.

Amous invites Abed and his wife Monique to spend time on his private yacht. Monique takes advantage of the situation to be near the Israeli military port to gather information, and Claire tells Jacob that she is pregnant.

Tzipora falls ill and Abed takes her to the hospital, where she dies. Yousef agrees with Abed on the new operation. Giora tries to find out why Abed traveled to Cyprus, and suspects that he is smuggling diamonds.

As Jacob informs Abed of the arrival of the antiquities box, Abed agrees with Salome's husband to build a villa near his farm, and things become tense between Abed and Monique because of his relationship with Salome. Moreover, Giora tells Diana about the theft of the passports.

Diana tells Abed that Giora doubts the ownership of the passports she gave him. Monique's jealousy of Diana and Salome continues. Abed buries the box of antiquities in his villa, and the latter is surprised by Adel's visit to him in Haifa.

Excavators find antiquities on Abed's land, which ignites the matter and makes Salome's husband race to work with Abed. Giora begins to link Abed's travel abroad to the theft of passports and interrogates Diana about it.

Giora decides to keep an eye on Abed, and Youssef disguises himself as a businessman named Spot. Abed asks his mother and aunt to leave Haifa and travel to France, and confesses that he is a spy for the Egyptians. Moreover, Giora arrests Diana.

Monique travels to France, and Giora exposes Abed and issues a decision to arrest him, but Egyptian intelligence assigns Abed a final dangerous mission, which prompts him to stay in Israel. However, Tawfiq and Hassan help him escape before he is arrested.
