Abu Mansour (Mansour's father) takes care of his young son and works in Abu Khaled’s shop. Khaled treats Mansour in a bad and arrogant manner in school, despite Mansour being more academically gifted.

Abu Mansour seeks to work in diving, but his amputated arm stands in the way of achieving this. Amina pampers her son Khaled, which spoils his upbringing, and Abu Mansour dies.

Abu Khaled takes care of Mansour until he grows up and works for him in the store. Khaled goes to university and travels to complete his studies. Abu Khaled gets sick and dies, and Amina continues to treat Mansour badly.

Salem convinces Mansour to take what's his from Abu Khaled's safety. Khaled moves with his family to a new house. Mansour is forced to work as a servant in his house. Qais proposes to Laila.

Laila refuses to marry Qais. Abu Faraj warns Khaled against selling his father's agency and losing his money in the market. Amina asks Khaled to give his sister her inheritance and turns to Mansour to manage her money.

Khaled and Lulwa's wedding takes place, and the villa is registered in her name. Amina kicks Mansour out of the house for asking to marry Laila. Salem financially blackmails Lulwa when he learns that she and her brother Qais stole Khaled's money.

Khaled tries to persuade Amina to trade with her money, but he loses it in gambling. Mansour opens a trade office, makes huge profits, and decides to pay off Khaled's debts in exchange for Laila agreeing to marry him, but the latter refuses.
