Samiha suffers from her husband, Medhat's, disregard for the sanctity of married life and his complete neglect of his duties as a husband and partner, which leads her to decide to file for divorce.

After Samiha's divorce, Suzy tries to get closer to her colleague, Medhat, who later meets Makarem after she visits him at her home, only to discover that she is related to Samiha.

Fawzy convinces Medhat to get close to Makarem, coveting her wealth, while the company manager begins to court Samiha and support her at work.

An unintended coincidence causes Medhat to fall into Makarem's trap, who tells Fawzy that she will soon marry Medhat.

Medhat's jealousy flares up over the manager's interest in Samiha, so he agrees to marry Makarem despite his hesitation, driven by a desire for revenge and to seize the opportunity.

Samiha is saddened by Medhat's marriage to Makarem. Younis, the manager, proposes to Samiha, so she asks him for time to think. At the same time, Fawzy tries to get closer to Suzy.

Makarem lavishes money on Medhat, which angers Fawzy, who asks Suzy to get close to Medhat and cause discord between him and Makarem.

Younis's relationship with Samiha improves after he celebrates her birthday, and Medhat decides to use the general power of attorney Makarem gave him to sell some of her property to establish his own project.

Fawzy tells Makarem that Medhat sold her property, and a big problem arises between them. Medhat discovers that his partner in the project has defrauded him of his money and fled.

Makarem cancels Medhat's power of attorney, so the latter returns to get closer to Samiha, but Younis fills her time, so Medhat decides to break up with Makarem.

Many problems arise between Makarem and Medhat, and Medhat collapses and is taken to the hospital.

Medhat receives psychological treatment in the hospital and considers committing suicide despite everyone's support.

Medhat accidentally shoots Makarem, and his psychological suffering continues. He divorces Makarem, who travels and leaves him, and Medhat goes insane.
