Maria Chamberlain tries to persuade Bert to continue working for her. Meanwhile, Irfan does her best to look after his family.

Raouf tries to get close to Maria, and Maria tries to keep Irfan in her company.

Issa gets married to Insaf and Chamberlain attends the wedding. Issa is summoned to join in the fight.

Raouf invites Maria to his home, and is surprised that she brought Irfan with her. The embassy summons Maria and interrogates her for her relationship with Irfan.

Maria tells Irfan that she will return to her homeland. The police arrest Irfan as a service for Raouf. Irfan is forced to join the jihadists.

Irfan succeeds in escaping from the military. He goes to Raouf's house with a riffle and threatens him if he stands in his way again.

Raouf tells the police chief that Irfan managed to escape from recruitment and broke into his home and tried to kill him. Menelawi goes to Irfan's house to tell his family about the martyrdom of Issa.

The police find out that Menelawi is helping Irfan and they promote him in order to force him to arrest Irfan.

Maria returns to Egypt, and Raouf discovers that she will marry Irfan.

Insaf tells Irfan that Rahma is about to give birth, and Maria decides to return to her homeland and stay away from Irfan after Rahma has given birth to a boy.

Irfan names his son Garhi. Years pass, Menelawi and Irfan meet, Garhi becomes a young man and he marries Nour.

Irfan and Maria meet years after their last meeting. Garhi tries to have an affair with Sara and cheat on Nour.

Maria is afraid that her daughter Sara will have the same fate that has afflicted her relationship with Irfan, because of her love for Garhi . Garhi and Sara travel to Luxor.

Irfan becomes a deputy in the House of Representatives. Raouf proposes to Insaf and Irfan refuses the matter. Garhi decides to travel fleeing with Sara and Irfan goes to persuade him not to go or else he will kill him.
