Ahmed refuses to be appointed the dean of the college through the mediation of Asmaa's father, his father-in-law. Abu Qaisar argues with his party colleagues about the political situation that is based on bickering and tension between various parties.

Abu Qaisar resigns and rejects national reconciliation; however, he asks his son, Qaisar, to run for elections. Yassar admires Yara and tries to get close to her despite her rejection of him.

Yassar tells Yara that he loves her and continues to pursue her in college until he takes her phone number and calls her in an attempt to pressure her. However, his friend Adel is injured in the field, so Yassar advises him to stay away from politics.

Yassar is surprised when Yara comes to the cafeteria with his friends and tells them that he invited them all to celebrate at his expense. Asmaa calls her husband Ahmed and tries to reconcile with him.

The priest Abu Masis is kidnapped, so Yassar asks for his father’s help to rescue the man. As Abu Qaisar seeks the help of the army, Yara feels worried about Yassar after he and Masis go to Mosul with the special forces.

Yassar returns to Baghdad with his two friends, Wissam and Adel, after freeing Masis's father. Yara refuses to marry Nazir and convinces her father of her point of view when she learns that Yassar's father works in politics like her father.

As Salwa quarrels with Masis because he does not care about her, the relationship between Yassar and Yara strengthens. Qaisar goes to Hisham's office to search for the candidates' petitions for the elections.

Abu Huda, who all parties fear, gets elected by Qaisar. Medhat, Yara's father, goes to the Public Prosecutor’s Office to testify in a murder after he got reported by Albu Qaisar.

Adel discovers that Yara is the daughter of Medhat Abu Akram, the arch-enemy of Abu Qaisar and Yassar, so he tells Yassar about it as he is worried about him. Yassar avoids talking or meeting with Yara, and she does not understand the reason, so she goes to see him at his house.

Yassar agrees with Yara that he will not leave her no matter what happens. Nazir goes to the college to meet Yara, and when Yassar sees them, he feels jealous. Yassar also tells his sister Asmaa about his relationship with Yara, and she advises him to stay away from her.

Yassar meets Yara in college, fearing that her father would discover the truth about her relationship with him. On the other hand, Yara's father wants her to marry his nephew, Hisham.

Abu Huda agrees with both Qaisar and Hisham to let them have the upper hand in the elections despite the opposition of Abu Qaisar and Medhat, and Qaisar tries to convince his father that this alliance is in their interest.

A car bomb explodes, and Hisham is injured in the accident and taken to the hospital. In the meantime, Yassar tells Yara that they have to get married to end the conflict between the two families.

Yara's mother discovers her daughter's relationship with Yassar, so she quarrels with her and asks her to break off her relationship with him and accept getting married to Nazir. Yara tells Yassar about the matter so that he can be careful.

Yara takes a large amount of pills in an attempt to commit suicide, but the attempt fails as a result of her quarrel with her mother. When Yassar learns about this, he goes to the hospital to see her and finds her mother and her friend Rahaf there. Yassar tells his brother Qaisar that he wants to marry Yara.

Qaisar quarrels with Yassar and beats him. He also tells his father about Yassar's relationship with Yara. Yara runs away from home and agrees with Yassar to get married, and Masis helps them.

Yara goes with Yassar to the church where Masis's father works to hide there until they get married. On the other hand, Hisham and his men search everywhere for Yara.

Hisham and Wissam detain Yassar's friend until they take all the information they need from him about Yassar and Yara's whereabouts. In the meantime, Qaisar leaves no one without asking him about his brother.

As Hadi suggests to Abu Qaisar to talk to Maher and convince him that Yassar did not kidnap Yara, Wissam confesses to Hisham about Yassar and Yara's whereabouts.

Rahaf calls Adel while she is next to Akram after he detained her to find out where Yara is, and he tells her that Yara is at the house of the priest, Masis’s father.

Adel reassures Yassar's father about his son and tells him that he is fine. On the other hand, Yara lives in a state of sadness and fear that her father will know her place.

Hisham discovers the whereabouts of Yassar and Yara, so he sends his men to Mosul. Adel informs Qaisar about this, so Masis is alerted and tries to escape them. However, Hisham's men arrive at the church to search for Yara.

An attempt is made on Abu Qaisar's life amidst the anger and grief of his family. Fingers are pointed at Hisham and his group. Yara decides to visit the Church of Saint Virgin to ask for her blessing, and Yassar reluctantly agrees.

Yassar calls Qaisar and tells him that he married Yara and asks him to secure his return to Baghdad. The election supervisor asks Hisham to withdraw.

Qaisar goes to Mosul, where he meets the priest, Masis's father, to search for Yassar; however, Yara hides, and Yassar disguises himself as a priest so that no one will recognize him.

As Asmaa asks her father to reconcile with Medhat, Adel asks Massis to move Yassar from the area. Nazir meets with Wissam and Adel and tries to take any information that leads him to Yara.

Adel agrees with Nazir to tell him where Yassar is in exchange for money, but he quarrels with him and beats him, and he goes to Qaisar to help him.

Adel and Wissam go to Masis to tell him that Nazir knows where Yara is, and Maher suggests on Medhat to reconcile with Abu Qaisar to resolve the problem.

Akram does not want to get involved with the army, so he warns his men to take care. Yassar decides to escape from the area with the help of his friends, amidst Yara's great sadness.

Yassar dies from a gunshot from Medhat's men, and when Yara learns, she loses consciousness. Yassar's family is overwhelmed with sadness, and his father decides to avenge his death.

Adel is killed, and Yara is found by her father, who shoots her in front of her mother, who discovers that Yara has given birth to a child. Masis goes to Ahmed to ask him for help to take the child.
