Maryam clashes with her manager, Ghufran, at the carpet factory, due to her constant late arrival to work and her relationship with Atta. Maryam goes to seek help from her grandfather because of her mother's desire to wed her to Ezzo.

As Neama and Abu El Ezz find out about the relationship between Maryam and Atta, Ezzo arrives and the duo tries to implement their plan by getting him married to Maryam. Nimr tries to get close to Maryam. The village celebrates Ezzo's arrival.

Maryam's grandfather warns her off staying with Atta. Despite the fact that Ezzo carries out a plan with Maryam on the condition that she marries him, Ezzo rebuffs her to save his face. Nimr confesses his love for Maryam.

Ezzo deceives Maryam and agrees to marry her. As Abu El Ezz discovers that Ezzo hasn't got any fortune, Ezzo takes advantage of the families of the village and Nimr, and defrauds them of their money to get them hired abroad.

Ezzo asks Maryam to stay away from Nimr, after which he disappears with the money he took from the families who set their sights on the jobs, as a result of which young men gather to take revenge on Nimr, who tells them about Ezzo's offer and collects the money from them.

After the families urge Abu El Ezz to return back their money that his son has stolen, they set up a plan to seize Abu El Ezz's car and turn it into a taxicab to retrieve their money. Maryam discovers her pregnancy from Ezzo, while Nimr offers her to run away with him.

It is revealed that Nimr has seized some of the stolen money and deceived the families. Abu El Ezz refuses to hand over his car as compensation for his son’s fraud. Maryam gives birth to Ezzo's son.

Abu El Ezz is forced to give up his car. Ezzo returns to the village after he becomes rich, accusing Maryam of cheating on him with Nimr. Abu El Ezz and his family reject Ezzo's money and kick him out of the village.
