After Jassem loses his money, his son Khaled decides to reopen his shop. Jassem helps Sharid after his house burned down, despite Shehab's taking advantage of the situation and lending Sharid money with interest.
After the death of his son during Hajj, Abu Fahd suffers from shock. He reproaches Abu Ghazi (Ghazi's father) for not supporting Jassem in his loss, while Umm Ghazi (Ghazi's mother) leaves the house and turns to Shehab's wife to stay with her.
Umm Ghazi suspects an affair between Abu Ghazi and her maid and asks him to kick her out, but Abu Ghazi kicks her out instead. Shehab quarrels with Jassem and demands that he return his money.
Khaled asks his father to return to trade, while Abu Fahd offers to lend Jassem a sum of money to pay off his debts.
Abu Fahd asks Shehab to give Jassem a respite to pay him back, while the latter agrees to reopen his shop, whereas Shehab complains to the judge that Jassem is unable to pay his debt.
Umm Khalil tries to persuade Muhammad to marry Abu Fahd's daughter. As the police arrest Battal for theft, his sister, Wedad, turns to Abu Ghazi to have him released. The judge gives a month's grace to pay off the debt to Shehab.
Jassem's children quarrel with each other because their father doesn't want to sell the house to pay off the debts. The police arrest Jassem, believing that he robbed a house. As Abu Ghazi divorces his wife, she dies out of grief.
As the judge interrogates Jassem, Khaled is forced to confess that he is the thief to save his father from prison. Abu Ghazi asks his son not to tell anyone about his mother's divorce before her death.
As the judge releases Khaled, his father kicks him out of the house, whereupon Abu Fahd tells Jassem that Khaled is innocent of the theft and that he claimed that he'd committed it to save him from prison.
Khaled turns to a chieftain to stay with him. The judge issues an order to sell Jassem's house at auction. Abdulaziz refuses to marry Hessa because she is much like his sister.
Muhammad decides to work in a petroleum company, whereas Khaled works as a shepherd. Umm Khalil proposes that Jassem marry, while Ghazi suggests that his son marry Hessa, and Shehab asks his cousin to marry him.
Sheikha suggests that Muhammad marry Hessa. As the judge orders the establishment of a counseling center, Ghazi suggests setting up the center in Jassem's house, which he bought.
Muhammad bids Sheikha farewell. Abdul Rahman steals his father's money. Shehab suggests that Ghazi run for head of the bureau.
Jassem, who nominates Abu Fahd to head the bureau, believes that Muhammad stole the money before he traveled. Shehab forces Munira to marry him.
Ghazi tells Shehab that Munira ran away from him because she wanted to marry Jassem. Abdul Rahman asks his father to mediate for him to marry Hessa.
Khaled is wrongfully accused of stealing Mutaab's sheep. Abu Ghazi asks Abu Fahd for his daughter Hessa's hand for his son, Ghazi, but he refuses. Shehab asks Umm Khalil to search for Munira.
Jassem thinks of looking for Khaled. Abu Fahd agrees to Abdul Rahman's marriage to Hessa. Abu Ghazi gives a house to Wedad and her brother Battal.
As Munira gives Jassem, who takes over as the bureau's treasurer, the ownership papers of her house, Abdul Rahman thinks of stealing them.
Muhammad learns that Abdul Rahman married Hessa. Also, Deeb marries Anoud, whom Khaled loves.
Abdul Rahman begins implementing his plan to seize Abu Fahd's shop and exclude Abdulaziz. Shehab's wife warns Munira of Shehab's coveting her fortune.
Abdul Rahman plants Abu Fahd's money in Abdulaziz's room to accuse him of theft, and agrees with Battal to rob his father Jassem for him.
Abdul Rahman quarrels with Abdulaziz and kicks him out of the house. After Abu Fahd decides to change his will in favor of Abdul Rahman, he suffers a health crisis. Jassem scolds his son Abdul Rahman for his actions and asks him to divorce Hessa.
Abdul Rahman takes advantage of Abu Fahd's illness and makes him stamp the papers of selling the shop to him, while Djaid drugs Khaled and puts him in Deeb's bed, so the latter believes that he's sleeping with his wife, Anoud.
Abu Ghazi takes advantage of Abu Fahd's illness and dismisses Jassem from the bureau, while Abdulaziz informs the latter of his constant quarreling with Abdul Rahman.
When Djaid kills Deeb, Khaled sets out to take revenge. As Battal and his assistant kill Munira, Jassem gets accused of killing her. Abu Fahd dies after Abdul Rahman seized all his property.
Shehab sells Munira's house to Abu Ghazi, and Battal steals the money. Muhammad returns and finds out what happened to his father. Umm Khalil tells Ghazi that Wedad is carrying an illegitimate baby.
Jassem turns to the Abu Deeb tribe to hide there. Muhammad vows to take revenge on Abdul Rahman for his greed. Wedad falsely claims that she's carrying Ghazi's baby.
Khaled agrees with his father to return to the village with Saqr to find out what is happening in his absence. Abdul Rahman tells Ghazi that Munira sold him all her property before her death. As Shehab quarrels with his wife, he accidentally kills Ghazi.
Jassem returns to the village. Battal confesses to robbing Jassem and to his friend's killing Munira at the instigation of Abu Ghazi and Abdul Rahman, so the police arrest them all.
Khaled buys all of Abu Ghazi's houses and recovers his father's property. Muhammad marries Hessa, while Khaled marries Anoud. Sheikha gives birth to her first child.
