Mona lives in Aleppo, and as a result of family pressure on her to marry her cousin, she runs away and starts looking for a job. As for Zainab, she is a thirty-year-old girl, and she also lives in Aleppo. She stumbles upon Riad, the missing child from the family of a doctor who lives in Damascus, at the lake in the summer resort where the doctor spent his vacation with his wife.
