Maryam is forced to work on Khalil's farm to help her sick uncle Ismail with household expenses and to please his cruel wife, Zainab.

Maryam is upset by Khalil's harassment of her and thinks about quitting her job on his farm. Subha quarrels with her husband, Khalil, when he threatens to divorce her because he wants to marry a younger woman.

The driver Mahmoud falls in love with Maryam, but Zainab forces her to marry Khalil, and on the night of her wedding, her uncle dies.

After her uncle's death, Maryam refuses to marry Khalil and runs away to look for Mahmoud, whom Ali tells that his employer's daughter, Seham, loves him.

Maryam works in a sewing workshop and Umm Suleiman, the owner, takes pity on her. Maryam continues to search for Mahmoud, while at the same time, Seham gets closer to him.

Maryam finds Mahmoud and they plan to get married, which angers Seham, who asks her father, Qadri, to fire Mahmoud from the company. She agrees with the employee Khamis to marry him in exchange for revenge on Mahmoud.

Khamis blackmails Seham into making him the company's manager in exchange for continuing their plot against Mahmoud. Khamis gets rid of Mahmoud, and the latter dies in a traffic accident.

Maryam discovers her pregnancy. Khamis deceives her and gives her half of her husband's death compensation, and Seham's father dies.

Maryam gives birth to her child, and Khamis marries Seham and seizes all her property.

Seham is upset that Khamis's behavior towards her has changed for the worse, and he marries another woman, so Seham kills him.

Maryam is forced to marry Abdullah so he'll help her raise her young son. Suddenly, Mahmoud reappears, and it turns out that he is not dead. He decides to take revenge on those who wronged him.

Mahmoud searches for Maryam, and when he finds her and his son, Abdullah gives her the choice between staying with him or returning to Mahmoud, and she chooses Abdullah.
