Rafaat arrives in Egypt and meets Sherifa and his family. When he returns to Rome, Mostafa trains him to use a new secret ink and code, giving him a list of questions for Dan and Isaac. When David goes back to Israel, he invites his friends over for dinner, meeting Haana Blomberg

David questions Isaac about the crash of the two Israeli planes. Ammon asks Serena to get Helen to partner up with David on a project. As Haana and David grow close, David's suspicion that she is a spy becomes the only thing keeping him from falling for her. Jan advises Haana to return to the US.

Haana confesses her love for David. The Intelligence Directorate asks David for answers to the questions they sent. Serena asks David to run for the Knesset. Helen informs Serena of the date of her arrival. Raafat travels to Rome after requesting a meeting from the Intelligence Directorate.

Raafat informs Mostafa that he requested the meeting because of Shlomo, the Knesset, and Helen Richter. Aziz suggests for Raafat to train to use the radio. David refuses to run for the Knesset. After a spy gets caught by the Knesset, David is told to stop his dealings.

As David asks Isaac to halt their dealings, Dan shares the same sentiment with David. Serena asks David to work with Helen for Israel's sake, revealing that she was promised compensation in the case of loss. Nadim travels to Israel. Aziz chooses Cyprus to be the location of Raafat's radio training.

Raafat is shocked to find Nadim in his house, informing him about the trip to Cyprus. Sha'oul tells David that Haana loves him and asks him to marry her. Shlomo shares with Yahodet his fears that David will take advantage of his work in the company, which goes against the rules of his military position.

David asks the hotel owner to postpone the delivery of Haana's letter. Raafat meets with Dr. Khaled to start his training on a new secret ink and the radio code. Nadim rebukes Raafat when he has trouble learning to use the radio.

Raafat learns to use the radio, receiving a message from Egypt and successfully decoding it. Nadim asks David to use Dan and Isaac to establish a network. Ammon informs David that the party has been chosen to run for the Knesset. Serena grows upset with David over his refusal to run for the Knesset.

Raafat meets Hassan Al-Qattan and gives him the name that Dan and Isaac nominated. He also tells him about Helen. As David returns to Israel, he informs Ammon that he won't run for the Knesset. David learns that the troops that the newspapers are talking about include some on Egypt's borders.

Raafat reports that the Israeli army is mobilizing at the borders. Dan informs David that Israel will attack Egypt and Syria on June 5th, striking at all the airports. Franca meets David for information about the planned attack. David learns that Israel took control of the Suez Canal and the Golan.

Raafat arrives in Roma and asks to return to Egypt. When he meets Nadim and Rageh, he asks them not to send him back to Israel. As Nadim advises him to reconsider, Aziz predicts that Raafat's request isn't final and that he is just blowing off steam.

As Raafat changes his mind after hearing Umm Ibrahim talking about how everyone has a role in the war. David returns to Israel and decides to start a project in Sinai. Al-Qattan asks David to keep silent about his marriage to Helen. David gets the designs of the Bar Lev line from Dan.

Raafat sends the designs to Nadim and Al-Qattan. Nadim gives Raafat a calculator that contains a hidden radio transmitter. Raafat mourns when Gamal Abdel Nasser dies, losing his temper when Ammon expresses his joy. Serena and Helen regard his outbrust as a sign of nobility.

Raafat reports that Israel is mobilizing the troops. As the October war breaks out, the despondent Serena and Ammon visit David after Israel gets defeated. David continues to send information about the attacks Israel is planning, providing valuable information for the Egyptian army.
