As his brother travels abroad, Taymor tries to seize the chance to take control of the company and kick Marzouq and his family out of the villa. Jamil and Ahlam look for a solution for their childbearing problem. Marzouq loses an antique book that was in his custody.

As Marzouq falls ill, Mortada and Shadid plot with Taymor to frame Zaki for murder to take revenge on Zaki's father, Marzouq.

Taymor refuses Fou'ad's advice to stay away from Marzouq, accusing Marzouq of trying to forge the deed for the villa. Shadid pretends to be a businessman and asks for the hand of Marzouq's daughter, Bahiya.

Afkar tries to convince Marzouq to approve Bahiya's marriage to Shadid. The police release Zaki after he gets acquitted. Bahiya informs Ali that she wants to break up with him and get engaged to Shadid.

Marzouq informs Zaki that Taymor is the one who framed him for theft to force them out of the villa. Ali decides to stay away from Bahiya. Fou'ad returns to Cairo.

Fou'ad hints at his wish to marry Kamilia. Taymor and Nazly admonish Fou'ad for taking in Marzouq's family as they belong to a lower social class. Mortada throws himself in front of Marzouq's car to get him in trouble.

Mortada drops the charges against Marzouq in an attempt to get close to him. When Jihan oversteps her boundaries in front of her father Taymor and the rest of the employees, he stops speaking to her. Taymor starts implementing a new plan to deceive Ahlam by giving her an apartment.

Mortada dons a disguise to lure Zaki to his apartment on the pretense of a job. As Mortada vanishes, Zaki gets arrested for breaking into the apartment. Marzouq's supervisor threatens to turn him in to the police if he doesn't bring the stolen book back.

Bahiya goes back to Ali after Shadid disappears. Marzouq enlists Fou'ad's help to have Zaki released. The police reject the testimony of the workshop's owner, which proves Zaki's innocence. Fou'ad is rushed to the hospital after he suffers a health scare.

Marzouq discovers that the undersecretary who took the book from him has retired and lost his memory. In an attempt to make Bahiya jealous and drive a wedge between her and Ali, Shadid disguises himself as a woman called Rasha and offers Ali a job.

As Fou'ad wakes up from his coma, he decides to marry Kamilia. Zaki is released from prison. Ahlam and Jamil's relationship is on the rocks.

Ali informs Jamil that he wants to leave Bahiya and wed his boss Rasha (who is actually Shadid). Taymor files an interdiction lawsuit, claiming that Fou'ad is insane.

As the undersecretary regains his memory, he promises to help Marzouq resolve the book problem. Marzouq and his family support Fou'ad, deciding to intervene to prove that Fou'ad is of sound mind to foil Taymor's plans.

When Taymor fires Mortada, the latter offers Fou'ad his services. Marzouq is suspended from work after he fails to return the book. Mortada threatens Taymor after he discovers that the latter is a drug dealer. When Marzouq tries to reconcile Taymor and Fou'ad, Taymor kicks him out of the company.

When Fou'ad is admitted to a psychiatric institution, Taymor uses it to prove that his brother is mentally ill to interdict Fou'ad and kick Marzouq out of the villa. As Marzouq retrieves the book, he tries to safeguard the money that Fou'ad left him before going to the institution.

As Afkar grows obsessed with Fou'ad's money, Marzouq tries to prevent her from taking it. Martada swindles Taymor. Fou'ad's condition goes downhill. Afkar, Ahlam, Ali, and Bahiya take the money bag and vanish.
