Badr is autistic and works in a clock shop, and his mother works as a maid. Meanwhile, Alaa suffers from Down syndrome, and his parents help him live his life normally.
Ubadah is happy with the news of his wife Mona’s pregnancy. Abu Alaa trains his son Alaa to swim, and Karim, the owner of the clock shop, is happy when Badr repairs a clock by himself.
Kawthar's husband, Riyad, becomes angry with his son Nidal's staying up late and neglecting his work. Kawthar proposes marriage to her son Nidal, but he refuses. The doctor tells Ubadah that he suspects a hormonal imbalance in the fetus and requests tests to confirm this.
Badriya, Badr's sister, comes out of prison and tells her friend Nisreen about her regret over not getting her academic degree. Karim remembers the doctor's talk about Badr's intelligence, and the latter gets creative in repairing clocks.
Mona is shocked when the doctor tells her that the fetus has thick skin on the follicle and that it may have Down syndrome. Badriya asks her mother to forgive her, but she kicks her out and tells her that Abu Badr died because of her.
Mona asks her husband that she would stay with her mother and asks her mother to have pity on Badr. Mona decides to visit more than one doctor and wait for the results of the tests. When Abu Alaa learns that his daughter Lara's husband has been beating her, he asks him to send her back to the Levant.
Badriya searches for a job but does not find any. Mona sees Alaa's condition and is affected by it. Ubadah asks Mona to abort the baby so that he will not be subjected to ridicule when he grows up.
Ubadah's mother refuses to let Mona abort her pregnancy and asks Ubadah to accept God's will. Alaa suffers from epilepsy and seizures due to his fear of driving a car quickly, and Umm Badr has an accident and is transferred to intensive care.
Nahla tells Mona about Alaa's condition and that he has a heart condition. Badriya rejects her friend's suggestion to stay up late with the men. Mona agrees to have an abortion but the doctor refuses. Badr gets lost and sleeps in the street.
Riyad and Kawthar quarrel with their son Nidal because he came home drunk. Ratib tells his mother that he saw his sister Safaa with a young man. Karim searches for Badr, and Ubadah finds a doctor to perform an abortion on his wife.
Mona retracts her decision to have an abortion, but Ubadah threatens to leave her. He buys medicine to cause the abortion without her knowledge, and Umm Badr is still in intensive care.
Badr is arrested and then taken to the hospital. Ubadah takes advantage of his mother's absence from home and puts Mona's miscarriage-causing medication in the juice.

Badriya finds her mother in the hospital, and Umm Badr asks her daughter Badriya to take care of her brother Badr. Ubadah’s mother finds medicine in her son’s clothes, then learns from the pharmacist that it is a dangerous medicine that causes bleeding and miscarriage.
Ubadah's mother fights with her son because he seeks an abortion. Ubadah does not want to have a disabled child who would torture him in this world. Ubadah's mother convinces Mona to stay with him.
Badriya finds Badr in the psychiatric hospital, and Ubadah tells Mona that the doctor has confirmed that the fetus has Down syndrome. Ubadah’s mother tells Riyad that his daughter Mona will give birth to a disabled child and that he must support her.
Mona goes to check on Alaa, and Alaa's mother, Nahla, learns that Mona will give birth to a disabled child, so she tries to reassure her, and Umm Badr is released from the hospital.
Badriya refuses to allow Badr to leave the hospital and to return to his sick mother. Riyad informs Kawthar of Mona's interest in Alaa because of her knowledge from the doctors that she will give birth to a child like him. A clash occurs between Mona and Ubadah and Mona refuses to have an abortion.
Kawthar promises her daughter to go to the best doctors and spend money on her and her son. Ubadah complains to Nidal about the problems between him and his sister because of his suggestion.
Badriya serves her sick mother and Badr, and Ubadah’s mother goes to an association for the disabled and tells Ubadah that there is a rehabilitation center, computer courses, and work that will help them live their lives and develop their minds.
Ubadah gives Nidal a large sum of money to pay off his debts, on the condition that he gives medicine to his sister Mona to induce an abortion. Abu Ratib, the elderly married man, confesses his love to Badriya.
Mona discovers that Nidal put something strange in the drink, so she confronts him in front of her parents, but he denies it. Nahla goes with Mona to Badr to fix the expensive clock.
Badr succeeds in repairing the clock and Mona confronts Karim about taking advantage of Badr's illness to benefit from him by repairing clocks for a little money. Badriya is happy that Badr is able to perform an important craft.
Alaa becomes jealous of Badr, and Nahla convinces Alaa to teach Badr numbers. Badriya tells her mother that Badr can repair clocks, and she looks for a job for him, but the shop owners refuse to believe that he can repair clocks.
Abu Ratib asks for Badriya's hand in marriage, but her mother refuses. Abu Ratib confesses this to his wife Wajeha. The latter quarrels with Badriya, and Mona quarrels with Ubadah because she suspects that he put something strange in the drink, so he accuses her of being mentally ill.
Nahla is transferred to intensive care, and the doctor suspects that she has suffered a stroke. Abu Alaa tries to calm his son Alaa, who is crying and screaming because of his attachment to his mother.
Nahla's son, Majdi, returns from abroad to see his mother in the hospital. Nidal returns the money to Ubadah, and the latter convinces Mona's family of the necessity of taking her to see a psychiatrist and aborting her pregnancy, and Nahla dies.
Nidal quarrels with Ubadah and calls him crazy. Mona agrees to visit a psychiatrist on the condition that Ubadah undergoes treatment first. Ubadah beats and divorces Mona.
Badr's mother asks Karim to return her son to work in the clock shop. Then Karim suffers a heart attack and Badr saves him. Ubadah's psychological state worsens and his mother asks him to see a doctor, and Alaa asks his father to visit his mother's grave.
Ubadah thinks that the maid is his wife Mona and apologizes to her, so he is transferred to the hospital to improve his psychological condition. Nidal's betrayal of his sister in exchange for money shocks Kawthar and Riyad. Mona gives birth and stays in her family’s house while the child grows up.
