Set against the 1967 defeat in a small neighborhood, lives a mixture of students coming from the regions, Al-Azhar students, and young men who practice various crafts. Sheikh Ezzat, Al-Azhar student, is the wise man of the neighborhood, resolving its disputes and usually intervening to establish the rules of principles and morals in the relationships and behavior of the neighborhood’s people.
