Despite the difference in their social statuses, Kamel marries Ilham, and he endures hardships up until the birth of his daughter Karima. Things get worse after Ilham falls ill, causing her to leave the house and disappear. Kamel returns to his father's palace with his daughter, who, with maturity, feels responsible for her mother's disappearance.
