Ahlam works in a large club cafeteria and is married to her cousin Saeed, who is on the run from a blood feud. Shadia uses Ahlam's talent for archery and asks her to participate in the archery competition in the name of Hania, a member of the club, in exchange for a sum of money.
Ahlam wins the competition, and Saeed finds a new job out of sight, guarding the villa and farm of Mahran. Meanwhile, Wahdan's children discover Saeed's place, so Ahlam agrees to move to the farm.
Ahlam persuades the people of the area to hide the truth from the police about the attempt to kill Saeed, and they flee to the ranch and are handed over the work by Tolba. Ahlam meets Naima and Souad, who are the maids of the ranch.
As Marwan tries to be alone with Ahlam, she stops him. Tolba tries to convince Hassan, his son, to take back Souad, but he refuses because she cheated on him with Marwan. It turns out that Naima was one of Marwan's wives.
Wahdan’s family suspects that Saeed survived. As Ahlam starts working in the villa, Marwan continues to harass her. Souad tries to get close to Marwan in the hope of marrying him. When Ahlam goes to Zeinhom to solve her children's school transfer problem, Wahdan's children follow her to the ranch.
When Saeed gets sick, Ahlam takes his place at work, and she thwarts an attempt to rob the ranch. Wahdan’s children try to shoot Saeed, but he dies of a fever. Ahlam returns to her home and tries to return to her work in the club, but as her attempts are unsuccessful, Shadia gets her a new job.
Ahlam gets a job in the clinic of Dr. Ali, Hania’s husband. Meanwhile, Wahdan’s children want to take revenge on Abdel Aal since Saeed died of a fever and wasn't shot dead. Later on, Abdel Aal gives Ahlam a month’s notice, after which she would go to stay with him.
When Souad gives Marwan Naima's savings book, he decides to bargain with Naima over it in exchange for their marriage certificate. As Naima needs an operation, Ahlam goes to Marwan to ask him for the book. When he tries to rape her, she kills him, retrieves the book, and runs away.
Tolba, Hassan, Naima, and Ahlam are summoned for interrogation. When Abdel Aal is shot, Ahlam runs away with her two children, Basem and Basma. Hassan and Tolba are released, and Ahlam is being searched for to be interrogated.
Abdel Aal confesses to his wife, Haniyah, that he has mortgaged the house due to the accumulation of debts on him, and he begins trading timber with Fares. Ahlam falls unconscious after seeing the news of Mahran’s murder in the newspaper.
The relationship between Ahlam and Maali strengthens, and Haniyah gives her gold to Maali and asks her to hide it from everyone. Elsewhere, Gamil watches the hired killer, whose hand got paralyzed in Abdel Aal's house.
Taher, Gamil's son, studies at the same college as Maali. When Abdel Aal dies and Haniyah loses the house to the debtors, they all move to the house of her brother, Darwish. Gamil wishes to engage Maali in his works due to her talent in archery.
Ahlam seeks Tammam and his wife Amina's help to start a home-cooking project. Souad discovers Ahlam had a fight with Mahran on the night of the accident. Gamil meets Ahlam to offer his condolences, claiming that he's her relative, and tells her Wahdan's children want to retaliate against her son, Basem.
Souad informs the police about Ahlam’s fight with Mahran, and Tolba tells Hassan that Ahlam killed Mahran. Rasmiya informs Hassan that she is his mother, and of what Gamil did. When Hassan confronts Gamil, he denies it. Fares tells Tammam that he will return Abdel Aal's rights as a dowry for Ahlam.
When Rukaya, Gamil's wife, kills Rasmiya, Baraka gets accused of the matter, and Darwish hides him. Tammam beats Fares for harassing Ahlam. Amina refuses to work with Ahlam as she suspects that Tammam likes her. Gamil tells Ahlam about who will kill Basem, so she decides to kill him.
Gamil tells Rukaya that he deceived Ahlam by saying that someone wants to kill Basem in order to force her to kill for him. Taher's parents refuse his marriage to Maali. It turns out that Gamil works for Kamel, a member of the parliament, and Ahlam hears a gunshot next to Basem.
Ahlam goes to Gamil to ask him to testify with her in front of the police, and he dissuades her from the matter. Ahlam learns from Badriya that the detectives are looking for her because they know of her quarrel with Mahran on the night of the accident.
Ahlam goes with Gamil and kills Amer, Kamel's friend and secret keeper. Gamil confesses to Ahlam that he deceived her. When he asks her to work for him and leaves her money, she expels him. Later on, he tells her that he is the one who was shooting to force her to work for him.
Ahlam learns that Amer was a good man, so she leaves money in front of his house. When the police learn about the matter, they decide to track down who did it. Maali tells Ahlam about Taher, and Ahlam warns her of his father and advises her to stay away. Ahlam asks Gamil to keep Taher away from Maali.
The court rules on the validity of Naima's marriage to Mahran. Gamil kidnaps Basma, and Ahlam informs the police. When she goes to see Gamil, he tells her that he is the one who kidnapped her daughter and that if she works with him, he will return her daughter to her.
When Basma falls ill for refusing food, Ahlam agrees and kills again for her daughter's sake. Basma enters the hospital, regains her health, and returns home. The police suspect her mysterious return, as Ahlam tells them that she found her in front of the house.
Baraka returns to Darwish's house because of the police, and Kamel's wife agrees with Maher, the special assistant, to seize his property.
Rukaya agrees with Fathia to enter Taher's life to forget Maali, who tells Taher what she knows about his father, and he tells her that he saw a woman from Cairo who sought help from his father, and he helped her. Ahlam tells her that he kidnapped Basma and bargained with her to work with him.
Hassan marries his work friend's sister. Fathia begins to get close to Taher, and the police continue to search for whoever leaves money in front of the victims' houses. During his visit to the people of the district, Kamel notices a relationship between Gamil and Ahlam.
When Fathia tries to approach Gamil, he rejects her. Rukaya goes to the mountain to use an outlaw instead of Ahlam, and Baraka sees her, and she runs away. Rukaya sends an anonymous letter to the police about the presence of Baraka in the mountains, and he gets arrested.
Darwish visits Baraka. When Maali asks Mostafa, her professor at the university, to defend Baraka, he agrees. Kamel's wife, Sohair, begins spreading a rumor of his desire to seize and sell the village's lands.
Taher leaves the house after learning the truth about his parents from Fathia. Fathia's uncle, Shalakany, kidnaps him in retaliation for what they did to Fathia and in order to recover her money from Gamil. Ahlam refuses to work with Gamil again.
Gamil deceives Maali, tells her of her mother's death, and makes her travel to Faiyum to her mother. Also, he tells Ahlam that he is the one who kidnapped her. Ahlam makes sure that Maali is in Faiyum.
Maali returns. Gamil gives money to Ahlam, and she is arrested by the mayor's assistants as she puts money in front of the house of another dead man. When she is released from the police station, Gamil tells Kamel the truth about Ahlam and asks him to investigate what happened at the police station.
Baraka dies after informing Ahlam and Darwish that there is money in the mountain. When Ahlam goes with Darwish, they find a bag full of money. Ahlam tries to get Abdel Aal's house back, but El Tamrawi refuses because of Fares' desire to buy the house.
Sohair asks Ahlam to help her convince the people of the village so Kamel would lose in the elections. When Kamel learns of Sohair and Maher’s agreement, he detains her and asks Ahlam to marry him. Later on, Ahlam buys a new house.
Amina's mother, Rabha, disappears after learning that Kamel is detaining Sohair. Naima receives her inheritance, and Badriya becomes pregnant. Ahlam moves to the new house, and Haniyah returns from Faiyum.
Kamel visits Ahlam at her house, and she kicks him out. Mostafa discovers that his student Hamdi is involved in the revenge circle. Hamdi asks Maali to marry him, and she agrees. Sohair commits suicide, and Rabha is found. When Kamel steals the mayor’s money, the latter reports it to the police.
Kamel flees abroad. Sohair survives and discovers that she has been deprived of wealth and expelled from the house. Hamdi refuses to take revenge. When Taher discovers that Rukaya killed his mother and informs Mostafa about the matter, Rukaya tells Taher that Ahlam is the one who killed his parents.
When Hassan and Tolba visit Ahlam, Tolba informs her that Naima distributed the inheritance to all of them. Gamil falls ill, and Taher tells Mostafa that Ahlam killed his parents. Rukaya beats and kidnaps Fathia before the police intervene and rescue her.
Gamil signs over all his possessions to Taher, and Fathia survives. Mostafa asks Ahlam to turn herself in to the authorities after she confesses to committing all of her crimes. When Fathia informs on Rukaya, the latter gets arrested. Gamil murders Ahlam so that Taher would not kill her.
