Fadwa marries the imprisoned Ziad and leaves the city with Naem. Abdullah returns to Africa. Ghassan attacks the Spanish with a small number of soldiers and is martyred. Ferdinand and Isabella enter the palace and break the covenant with Abu al-Qasim by appointing him as viceroy.
