Prince Abu Abdullah al-Saghir surrenders Granada after a peace treaty with King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, and thus the last Muslim stronghold in Andalusia falls, while Abu Ghassan, the cavalry commander, and Abdullah al-Zaghal prepare to resist the Spaniards.

Queen Isabella burns the treaty of surrendering Granada for non-compliance, and the prince's son is among the hostages taken by the Spanish, while Abdullah al-Zaghal, Ghassan, and Naem try to break the truce to ignite war.

Abu Ghassan resists the Spanish and is wounded, while their king wants his head, sword, and horse. The Spanish pledge to give Prince Abdullah thirty thousand pieces of gold in exchange for Granada, and the prince plans to lure Ghassan out of the palace to hand him over to them.

Abu Ghassan refuses the governorship of Granada after Aisha al-Hurra's offer, while the Spanish demand the arrest of Abdullah al-Zaghal and Ghassan. Naem sends an undercover soldier in place of Ghassan, who is killed, and Abdullah al-Zaghal, the prince's uncle, is captured.

Abu al-Qasim offers to marry Fadwa, the owner of the Khan, while Ghassan refuses to hand over the swords of the knights and soldiers to the Spanish when they surrender Granada. He accuses the prince of treason and offers to prepare the resistance to confront the Spanish.

Abu al-Qasim helps the prince escape the agreement with Ghassan and Aisha al-Hurra to resist the Spanish and keep Granada. Isabella orders Fernando, her secretary, to transport the hostages, including Ghassan, and imprisons Ziyada, Abdullah al-Zaghal's friend.

While leading the knights to rescue Abdullah al-Zaghal, Ghassan is captured and imprisoned. Aisha flees the palace, while Abu al-Qasim's daughter Alwa discovers her father's treason and offers Naem an agreement with the Spanish before hiding in Khan Fadwa.

Ziad helps the prisoners Ghassan and Abdullah al-Zaghal escape from prison to Khan Fadwa, where Prince Abdullah and Abu al-Qasim receive them to hand them over to the Spanish, but they are surprised by their escape.

The hostages arrive, and King Ferdinand is informed that Ghassan is not among them. Ghassan plans to kill the king, while Abdullah al-Saghir kills Prince Abdullah Al-Saghir and Naem Abu al-Qasim, the minister.

Abdullah tries to deceive Ghassan by sending him to the Spanish to negotiate over Granada and hand it over to them. Ghassan offers Aisha al-Hurra a treaty with the Spanish to sell Granada in exchange for thirty thousand pieces of gold.

Ghassan refuses to wage war with the Spanish with a small number of soldiers in exchange for their equipment and a huge army, warning that they are destined for death, while Abu al-Qasim asks Fadwa to put poison in Ghassan's drink to kill him.

Fadwa refuses to put poison in Ghassan's drink. Ghassan enters the Khan and learns what Abu al-Qasim was planning. He tries to give him the poison, accusing Fadwa, while Alwa separates from her father and goes with Naem.

Fadwa marries the imprisoned Ziad and leaves the city with Naem. Abdullah returns to Africa. Ghassan attacks the Spanish with a small number of soldiers and is martyred. Ferdinand and Isabella enter the palace and break the covenant with Abu al-Qasim by appointing him as viceroy.
