Wahdan is the chief of an island on the Nile. His daughter Nesma refuses to abide by their traditions and marry her cousin. When Wahdan and his nephew Meselhy save a young man, Galal, after he tries to commit suicide, Meselhy takes him in, only for Galal and Nesma to fall for each other.
