Mutlaq resents that Sheikh Saleh assumed the leadership in place of Hajj Rumaih during his travels, as he wished that he would take over his place. Majed quarrels with Kamail. Jayah quarrels with his wife for his bad reputation. Mutlaq fires Umm Majed from work.
Both Majed and Jayah's wife resort to Sheikh Saleh for judgment about what Mutlaq and Jayah did with them. Jayah informs Mutlaq of Majed's desire to marry Kamail; Saleh refuses. Umm Majed refuses to go back to work for Mutlaq.
El Maha warns Kamail about Mutlaq as he tries to force her father to agree to her marriage to him. As Mutlaq is upset at Umm Majed's refusal to work for him, he asks Jayah that she works for his wife, El Maha. As Mutlaq and Jayah try to set Majed up, their plan backfires.
Jayah and Mutlaq agree with Saan that the latter claim that he is the one who expelled the guest of the tribe without Mutlaq's knowledge. Saleh thanks Majed for hosting the stranger in his home despite his tough conditions. El Maha tells Kamail of her desire to divorce Jayah.
As El Maha refuses to work for Mutlaq, her husband Jayah forces her and beats her. As Umm Majed asks her son to consider marrying Kamail, he rejects because of the social difference between them; Kamail refuses to marry him.
As a wolf eats Majed's sheep, Kamail quarrels with him and fires him from work. El Maha complains to Umm Majed of the hardship of working for Mutlaq, who agrees with Jayah to falsely claim that he killed Massad's dog because it's rabid.
Mutlaq falsely claims that Salem's dog had bitten Jayah in order not to pay him money to kill the dog. A thief robs the village's homes. Majed meets the sheikh of Mutlaq's tribe and gives him a great gift.
El Maha reveals to Saleh that the bite on Jayah's body is from a man and not a dog. Jayah and Mutlaq quarrel after a bandit seizes their clothes and money. Kamail tries to sow suspicion in her father Saleh's heart towards Majed. Jayah and Mutlaq are not on good terms.
Sheikh Saleh receives their guest Muharram, who reveals to them the story of Saffan and his possession of fifty ewes for his chivalry. Jayah insists that Mutlaq apologizes to him after he fired his wife El Maha from working for him.
Saleh and Jayah ask Mutlaq to return his niece, Norah, to her husband. Jayah and Mutlaq reconcile. Muharram promises Mutlaq to marry Kamail.
Saleh asks Mutlaq to fight the bandits. Umm Majed discovers that Kamail wants to marry Khanafis. As El Maha decides to leave her husband Jayah, the latter continues to search for her and informs Saleh.
As Jayah regrets his friendship with Mutlaq and that El Maha left him, Mutlaq tries to console him and asks him to restore their previous friendship. Khanafis steals all of Saleh and Jayah's money. Jayah divorces El Maha.
Mutlaq insists that El Maha returns to work for him after her divorce. Mutlaq asks Muharram to return the money that he stole from Jayah. As Majed returns to the tribe, Jayah accuses him of stealing his money, but Majed proves his innocence and tells them how he got all those sheep.
As Mutlaq vows revenge on Majed, he agrees with Muharram to steal Majed's money. As El Maha's father dies, she decides to live with Umm Majed. Jayah promises Mutlaq to help him marry Kamail.
As Umm Majed informs her son that she will ask for Kamail's hand for him, Muharram asks for her hand as well. As Majed cooperates with Saleh to arrest the bandits, they discover that they are Mutlaq and Muharram.
