After the death of her husband, Hanan and her children live in poverty, while Nabil pursues her under the pretext that he loves her. He robs the factory where she works, burns it, and kills its owner. As Hanan is accused of the crime and goes to prison for twenty years, she lives in the hope of searching for the real culprit after her release.
