Ali, the gardener's son, loves Princess Ingy, daughter of Ismail Pasha, who enlists the help of Abdul Wahed to plant his garden.

Prince Youssef asks Zaki Effendi to convince Abdul Wahed to work in the garden of his palace, but Abdul Wahed refuses due to the low salary, while Hussein quarrels with Prince Alaa.

Tawhida's sister dies, so she brings her daughter Bahia to live with her. Jihan also dies, and Shwikar fails to get close to Ismail.

Ismail intercedes for Ali to fulfill Ingy's desire, so he joins the military academy. Hussein joins the police, and Ali and Ingy announce their love. to each other.

Ali is imprisoned in college for not abiding by the instructions. Alaa fails to obtain a bachelor's degree, and Bahia dreams of marrying Hussein.

Alaa tries to shoot Ali with a rifle. Suleiman dreams of the end of the Pasha’s rule. Youssef's marriage to Shwikar surprises Ismail, and Abdel Wahed learns about Ali's meetings with Ingy.

Hussein frequently goes to nightclubs to meet Sania, the dancer, while Ismail discovers that Ali has met his daughter and prevents her from communicating with him. Ali suffers a broken rib during a boxing match.

Ali and Ingy meet without her father's knowledge. Ali agrees to Ingy's request to ride the horse that is intended for her father's palace.

Ismail fires Abdel Wahed after Ali communicates with Ingy and asks Enas to persuade Ingy to stay away from Ali. Abdel Wahed buys land to turn it into a flower nursery.

Ali meets Karima, the dancer. Ismail fails to get the prize from the annual flower exhibition, so he incites unknown persons to vandalize Abdul Wahed’s nursery.

Nanny Gulbar advises Ingy to stay away from Ali. Ali and Suleiman graduate from college and are appointed to the cavalry. Ingy thinks about communicating with Ali through letters.

Alaa doubts the meeting between Ingy and Ali. Karima confesses her love for his brother to Hussein, the Wafd government falls, and Ibrahim fails to get closer to Ingy.

Abdul Wahed refuses to sell his land to Ismail, who decides to make Ingy travel to Istanbul. Hussein graduates from the Police Academy.

Alaa convinces Shwikar to agree to Ibrahim's marriage to Ingy. Alaa asks to marry Suhaila. Ali meets with the King of Egypt.

Ali travels to Hussein in Alexandria to meet Ingy. Ismail is surprised that Ingy refuses to marry Ali. Hussein refuses to marry Bahia.

Ingy threatens her father with suicide if he forces her to marry someone else. Ali contracts malaria. Alaa fails to convince his father of the palace's anger at Ali.

Suleiman complains of the neglect Ali is subjected to to Aziz, so he visits him. Ali returns to his home after his condition improves. Karima falls in love with Ali, to no avail.

Alaa kicks Ali out after he asks to marry Ingy. Ismail asks the royal family to fire Ali from the army, and Abdel Wahed is thinking of traveling to get away from Ismail.

Ali stays away from Ingy, who agrees to marry Ibrahim after her father threatens to kill Ali.

Ali's battalion refuses to hand over their weapons to the English army. Ingy marries Ibrahim and Suhaila marries Alaa. Ali is promoted at work, and Hussein is transferred to the Royal Guard.

Hussein delivers Ingy a letter from Ali. Naima burns Ingy's letter so that it does not reach Ali. Hussein falsely claims that Ingy refuses to communicate with Ali. Hussein meets Karima in nightclubs.

Ali is transferred to Siwa based on Ismail's recommendations. Karima fails to reach Ali, who proves his competence in the oasis.

Angie is thinking about filing for divorce from Ibrahim. Karima visits Ali in the camp, then succeeds in transferring him to Cairo.

Ali is surprised by Karima's help to transfer him from the oasis, and Alaa tries to convince his father to meet the King to ask him to transfer Ali.

The British send a warning to the King to force him to agree to appoint Al-Nahhas Pasha to the ministry. England besieges Abdeen Palace, so the King agrees to England’s requests under threat.

The King and Nariman get engaged, the Wafd Party wins the elections, and the King orders the arrest of the Free Officers

Alaa is surprised by his mother's divorce from Youssef and her marriage to a poor young man. The King searches for Ingy because he is amazed by her beauty.

Alaa incites the killing of his poor stepfather, and his mother dies of grief for her husband. Abdul Wahed is surprised by Ali’s marriage. Karima dies during the Cairo fire.

Hussein confesses to Ali that he hid Ingy's letter. Suleiman is surprised that Ali has joined the Free Officers. Ingy breaks down upon learning of Ali's marriage, unaware that he did not receive her letter.

Hussein and Bahia get engaged. Muhammad Naguib leads the Free Officers as they encircle Ras El Tin Palace and demand that the King cede the throne to his son and leave the country.

The King abdicated the throne. Hussein marries Bahia. Most of the princes travel outside the country. Ali heads a committee of officers to confiscate the money of Ismail, who traveled after Ali marries his daughter.
