Noura's illness becomes severe, and Obaid contracts smallpox and dies. Hamdan takes Noura and leaves the village, and Mubarak searches for them.
Umm Hamdan leaves to search for her son. Khaled proposes to Hessa. Mubarak succeeds in reaching Noura and Hamdan and kills his sister.
