Hamza invites his friends to a family party. He takes his wife to go to his friend, the jeweler, and when they return, they find that their villa has been burglarized.

An employee in Hamza's company embezzles money in order to pay for his son's university expenses. When Hamza finds out about it, he decides to pardon him, but his wife insists on calling the police.

When Hamza discovers that his son is in a relationship with a girl, he becomes angry because he wants his son to stay with him all the time. His son Alaa receives an anonymous message that if he marries the girl, his father will be killed.

The gang commits a new crime after the robbery of Zaky and Hamza's house. A thief is arrested, and he admits to the prosecutor that the gang operates separately so none of them knows information about the others, but he says that there's a thief from the gang who has an actress for a sister.

Kamal's son attacks Hamza, believing that Hamza is the reason why his father is in jail. After Hamza learns of his story, he decides to hire a lawyer in order to defend him. Alaa becomes depressed after learning that a suitor proposed to his girlfriend.

Events reveal that Hamza is the head of the gang and they call him 'The Professor'. Hamza tells his assistant that he wants to quit and repent, but the gang asks him not to leave them. Alaa gets engaged to his beloved Sahar.

Hamza invites his friends to the engagement party of his son Alaa and his sister. Sa'eed threatens Hamza that if he does not do one final operation for the gang, he will expose him in front of everyone.

Hamza decides to join the gang in a final operation and prepares the plan for them. The gang goes to rob the jeweler's villa, and Alaa comes to visit the jeweler at the same time.

Alaa is killed by the gang, and Hamza suffers from a nervous breakdown which gets him hospitalized. After he gets over his shock, Hamza tells his friend, the chief of security, that he knows the gang and admits that he is the gang leader.

Shawky, the chief of security, arrests the gang and his friend Hamza after he confesses his crimes. Hamza is imprisoned, and his money and property are seized.

After many years later, Hamza gets out of prison and lives with his relative Hussein. He goes to his house to find that it has been turned into a school. When Shawky offers him a job, Hamza tells him that he wants to work in his old house.

Faten ambushes Hamza and tells the principal that he stole the earrings of a young girl. But the girl’s classmate exonerates Hamza in front of the principal, who tells Faten to leave Hamza alone.

After Sa'eed gets out of prison, he chases Hamza and asks him to kidnap the young children and ask for ransom from their families, but Hamza refuses. When Hamza meets his wife Dawlat, he finds out by chance that Faten is his daughter.

Dawlat asks Hamza to keep his distance from Faten so that she wouldn't get attached to him. When Hamza discovers that Faten's sweetheart, Ra'fat, is engaged to the daughter of a rich man, he goes to warn Dawlat, but she scolds him. Hamza becomes frustrated and decides not to go to school again.

When Dawlat blames Hamza for getting imprisoned, he tells her that she's the reason he had to resort to robbery after the company went downhill and he grew fearful of poverty and scandal. Faten embraces Hamza after learning that he's her father. Hussein marries Faten.
