The police raid Tal'aat's house searching for drugs but they fail to locate any. Tal'aat grows infatuated with Shama. The police attempt to dissuade J'afar from resuming his bloodthirsty plans.

Upon learning that his daughter's husband is cheating on her, J'afar sets his son-in-law on fire. Fatema tries to get Shafiq to tell her what happened to her husband. The police try to get Tal'aat to help them arrest the outlaws.

Ruzaiq learns that Shama is seeing Tal'aat, and Atta sends his men to take revenge on him. Ja'far gathers the two families to reconcile them.

Atta tries to keep Shama away from Tal'aat, as the latter goes to Ruzaiq to propose to Shama.

When Atta is subjected to a murder attempt, Ruzaiq suspects that Tal'aat is behind it. Atta gets out of the hospital and sets fire to Tal'aat's kiosk.

Shama feels guilty for the mischief that has befallen Tal'aat. Fatema learns that J'afar killed her husband. Ruzaiq's attempt to rape Shama is foiled.

Shawqy tries to get close to Tal'aat to take advantage of him. Shafiq proposes to Hanady but she rejects him. Ruzaiq tells Tal'aat that Shama wants him to stay away from her.

Ruzaiq's attempts to separate the couple are futile as Tal'aat and his mother head to Shama's family's house to ask for her hand in marriage. J'afar kills Mar'ie for his betrayal.

Shafiq gets mad at his father for his foul crime and vanishes in light of Ja'far's attempts to find him. Tal'aat crosses paths with a young girl called Sayeda and he decides to help her.

Shafiq marries Hanady. Tal'aat discovers that Sayeda masterminded a plot to have him accused of assaulting her.

Tal'aat is imprisoned and Shawqy tries to get him out. Sayeda, meanwhile, alters her testimony and Tal'aat is acquitted.

Tal'aat and Shama get engaged. Shawqy tells Tal'aat that it was Ja'far who killed his father a long time ago, and Tal'aat's mother confirms the account.

Tal'aat gets mad at his mother and leaves the house. Ja'far's men kidnap Hanady.

Shama tries to contact Tal'aat. Shafiq learns that his wife is kidnapped and believes it is his father behind her kidnapping.

Shawqy tells Tal'aat that he will kill Jafar during the elections. Tal'aat learns that Shafiq is his half-brother and that his mother is still married to Ja'far.

Tal'aat becomes a journalist and writes articles in praise of Ja'far in an attempt to get closer to him.

Tal'aat has an accident and gets hospitalized as he loses his memory and the police try to help him find out who he is.

Tal'aat is taken to Ja'far's house and Shafiq tells him he is his cousin.

Shama and Tal'aat's mother tirelessly search for him. At Ja'far's house, Fatema gets closer to Tal'aat who falls deeply in love with her.

Shawqy sends his men to monitor Tal'aat, and the latter rescues Shafiq from a murder attempt.

Ruzaiq puts sedatives in Shama's juice to drug and rape her, and Shama's mother learns that he is actually giving her medications to destroy her uterine wall.

Shama's mother intervenes at the right time to save her daughter as she hits Ruzaiq on his head, and both women are acquitted.

Shawqy suspects that Tal'aat has betrayed him and started working for Ja'far. Attia runs away for fear he might be accused of murdering Ruzaiq.

Shawqy plots to get rid of Tal'aat and the police intensify their efforts to catch Ja'far and his men.

Tal'aat finds Hanady and he and Shawqy save her. Tal'aat, meanwhile, tries to help Fatema leave her grief behind and move on.

The police try to device a definite plan to destroy Ja'far and put an end to his foul intrigues. J'afar learns that Fatema is in a relationship with Tal'aat.

Shafiq warns Tal'aat that Ja'far intends to kill him now that he is aware of his daughter's relationship with him. Tal'aat decides to run away to evade Ja'far's wrath.

Shafiq kidnaps Shama to force Tal'aat to come out of his hiding place. Shawqy kidnaps Tal'aat and is shocked to learn that he has lost his memory, but Tal'aat eventually gets his memory back.

Ja'far suspects that a plot to get rid of him before the elections has been devised. Tal'aat returns to Ja'far and pretends that he doesn't remember a single thing, but he is actually cooperating with the police to entrap him.

Shafiq learns that Ja'far has killed Tal'aat's father and forcibly married his mother. An enraged Ja'far tries to kill Tal'aat, but he mistakenly shoots his daughter. Tal'aat returns to his family and marries Shama.
