Sabry looks after his father after the latter falls ill. Abu Rashed (Rashed's father) is upset with his son Agag, whose siblings are humiliating him.

As Agag decides to wed Wedad, his father starts to train him in their sweets shop. Abu Sabry (Sabry's father) informs his son that his father has put his inheritance in Abu Sherif's store, asking Sabry to buy the store so they could retrieve their gold.

Sabry tries to get the gold back. Bashira tries to incite Rashed against his family. Agag feels oppressed by his siblings' treatment of him.

Sabry threatens Abu Sherif to get him to sell the store. Bashira tries to harass Hafiza.

Abu Rashed decides to marry Agag off and support him against his siblings, a notion that annoys Rashed who incites the rest of his siblings against Agag. Abu Sherif enlists Roshdy's help to combat Sabry's threats.

Sabry refuses to sell his father's shop to Abu Rashed. It's revealed that Abu Rashed killed his sister after growing suspicious of her behavior, only to regret his actions afterward as his father left them. Abu Rashed tries to get his father's properties back.

Otour is distressed over the way her husband Sabry treats her. Roshdy decides to punish Sabry. Abu Satif gets released after Roshdy intervenes to secure his release.

Umm Rashed (Rashed's mother) is distressed when both Bashira and Hafiza give birth. Salmou and Zakou rob Abu Sherif and Abu Aref's shop.

Bashira's mother refuses to cause trouble for Umm Rashed and Umm Agag (Agag's mother). Abu Rashed opposes Agag's marriage to Wedad for the latter's lack of suitability for the family.

Sabry is upset when he learns that Abu Sherif wants to renovate his store. Zakou and Salmou try to stir up trouble in the neighborhood.

Agag gets fed up with his siblings' mistreatment. The neighborhood's people grow worried when Abu Sherif goes missing, unaware that Sabry has captured him.

When Hafiza's newborn daughter passes away, Abu Rashed's family mourns her. The neighborhood people enlist Roshdy's help to find Abu Sherif.

When Zakou and Salmou quarrel with Agag's siblings, Agag vows revenge. Roshdy forces Sabry to let Abu Sherif go.

Roshdy hides the fact that Sabry was involved in Abu Sherif's disappearance. It's revealed that Abu Sherif knows where the gold is, and that he hid it. Rashed decides to marry Umm Ahmed (Ahmed's mother).

When Umm Rashed asks for Umm Ahmed's hand in marriage to Rashed, she refuses and prevents her son from going to work with Rashed.

Rashed is distressed by Umm Ahmed's refusal of his proposal. His family pulls out all the stops to convince Umm Ahmed to agree to the marriage, but she refuses.

Rashed gets engaged to Umm Ahmed. Otour vows revenge on Sabry for his mistreatment of her.

Sabry decides to marry Fadia. Umm Ahmed refuses to leave her children behind to get married. Abu Aziz helps Sabry with his plans to get married.

When Bashira learns about Rashed's marriage, she leaves the house and gets separated from her husband. Amira continues to struggle with the birthmark on her face.

Rashed marries Umm Ahmed. Abu Rashed asks Roshdy to pay the rest of the cost of his grandfather's house, but he refuses. Sabry asks Zakou and Salmou to rob Abu Sherif's house.

Sabry seizes the ownership papers that belong to Abu Sherif. Umm Bashira (Bashira's mother) files a complaint against Rashed.

Roshdy decides to marry Sabry off to Wedad, but the latter protests. However, her father intervenes and forces her to get engaged to Sabry.

Wedad is unable to accept her father's decision to wed her to Sabry. It's revealed that Sabry has a vested interest in marrying Wedad.

When Roshdy learns that Wedad is planning to run away with Agag, he suspects that Abu Rashed is involved in the plan. Agag is convinced by his father to let Wedad go.

Tension rises between Umm Rashed and Umm Bashira. Umm Agag gets Wagiha engaged to Agag. Rashed sues Bashira for custody of his daughters.

Abu Rashed forces his son Agag to marry Wagiha. Roshdy decides to use Agag to get revenge on Abu Rashed.

Satif agrees to marry Agag's sister, Amira. Agag prepares to wed his cousin Wagiha.

Abu Sherif lies to Roshdy and claims that he sold his store to Abu Rashed. Abu Rashed hides his son Agag from the police.

Rashed is thrilled to learn that his wife is pregnant. It's revealed that Roshdy is the reason Abu Rashed's father left the neighborhood.

Wedad is unable to put up with Sabry. Sabry pulls all the stops to get the gold. Bashira regrets leaving her house.

Sabry sends Zakou and Salmou to look for Agag Abu Dawoud's children demand their rights from Abu Sherif.

When Umm Bashira crosses the line with his family, Abu Rashed decides to get revenge on her by kicking her out of the neighborhood.

Abu Rashed gives Umm Bashira's house to his son Rashed. Roshdy breaks off his daughter Wedad's engagement to Sabry. When Abu Sherif tells Agag about the gold, Agag refuses to take it.

Sabry incites Zakou and Salmou to kill Roshdy. Sabry torments his wife. Abu Satif asks for the hand of Abu Rashed's daughter for his son.

Wedad and her sister are shocked when they learn that their house belongs to Abu Rashed. Abu Rashed proposes for Wedad to wed Agag and for Fadia to wed Yassin.

Zakou kills Agag on orders from Sabry. Abu Sherif tells Abu Rashed about the location of the gold. Abu Rashed avenges his son and kills Sabry.
