When El Sebouei and Suleiman fall at the public bath, Suleiman is injured in the back and El Sebouei in the neck. As Dalanda drives Suleiman home, Zeinab is jealous. Azza applies ointment for El Sebouei; Jannat scolds her. Zeinab brings a man in place of the girl the doctor sent to Suleiman.

El Sebouei suffers from toothache and is trying to find any way to relieve the pain without going to the dentist because he is scared. He uses cloves and gargles with salt to no avail. His mother and Azza take him to the dentist, and he removes his molar and takes medicine.

As Dalanda helps Suleiman save all his work on the computer because he can't use it, his daughter asks him to buy a computer for studying. El Sebouei raises two mice in his room without anyone knowing, but they escape from the cage. Suleiman's family is afraid of mice, and so do Jannat and Azza.

As El Sebouei's mother makes small decorative pillows funded by Zeinab, Azza likes them, but Jannat does not want to buy them for her, so Mufida gifts her with them, which angers Zeinab. El Sebouei is sad when he learns Dalanda has a fiancé, and when Azza learns of this, she becomes angry with him.

Mufida prepares herself to travel with Zeinab’s mother on a sea trip and takes her food supplies with her. As El Sebouei grieves a lot for his mother’s death, Suleiman tries to alleviate his sadness. El Sebouei quarrels with Azza due to her jealousy of Dalanda and she leaves him.

As a journalist conducts a press interview with Jannat about her work as a fortune-teller, she takes photos of Jannat and Azza. She also talks to Suleiman in his clinic about his work as a psychiatrist and Jannat's competition with him. Everyone watches the interview on TV.

El Baghi agrees with Jannat to rent the rooftop of the building to hold wedding ceremonies. Suleiman and his family complain about the loud music and send El Sebouei to see what is going on outside, but he takes Azza and they go to spend the night at the rooftop's party.

El Sebouei steals the light bulbs from the hall of the building, and the neighbor thinks that Suleiman is the one who does so because he saw him in the lobby. Amany asks her father to wear earrings and change her style, but he and her mother refuse.

As Azza and Fadela return home in a taxi after buying some clothes, Jannat gets angry because Azza paid the fare. Suleiman and El Sebouei go out, and on the way El Sebouei provokes a problem, whereupon the police arrest him; Suleiman bails him out and regrets that he went out with him.

El Sebouei gets up at night, eats everything in the fridge and tells everyone that he doesn't remember that he gets up at night, so Fadela asks Suleiman to treat him. Amany discovers the truth behind El Sebouei and promises him not to tell anyone, only if she eats with him every night.

On Valentine's Day, Zeinab wants to celebrate it outside, but Suleiman does not believe in such things, so she makes dinner at home. Fadela prepares dinner for Azza and El Sebouei to celebrate. Zeinab and Suleiman quarrel because he forgot the rose, while Azza and El Sebouei laugh and dance.

El Sebouei is unable to hit the man who is flirting with Azza in the street, so she gets angry with him. Then, he agrees with El Baghi to hire a strong man so that El Sebouei beat him in front of everyone, but the man runs away and exposes El Sebouei when he learns that the police will come.

El Sebouei forgets to pay the clinic's phone bill, so the landline gets disconnected, which makes Suleiman angry. Suddenly, the landline gets disconnected at El Baghi and Azza's due to El Sebouei's failure to pay their bills. Moreover, the electricity goes out in Suleiman's house and Zeinab gets angry.

Suleiman loses his wedding ring and is afraid that Zeinab will find out; he tells his mother to look for it. He also asks the secretary to buy him a ring until he finds the original ring. When Dalanda tries to put on the ring on Suleiman's finger, Zeinab sees them and quarrels with Suleiman.

As Azza is preparing herself for marriage, and a mark appears on her nose, Zeinab promises sad Azza to buy her medicine. When El Sebouei goes to El Baghi everyday to take his coffee, El Baghi tells him that he will not make him coffee again. Zeinab shortens her clothes according to fashion.

As Zeinab grumbles about the heat and wants to go to the sea, Suleiman agrees on the condition that he does not go with them. She also asks him to buy a fan, so he buys a very small fan from El Baghi and it makes an annoying noise. Azza begs Jannat to buy a fan, but she refuses because she is stingy.

Suleiman adjusts the working hours because tomorrow is the first day of Ramadan. Azza begs Jannat to buy Ramadan supplies, but she refuses. Fadela goes to the market and buys everything. El Sebouei and Azza go up to the roof to observe the crescent and El Baghi watches them.

Jannat quarrels with El Baghi because he throws dirt in the hall of the building. Fushika comes to visit Suleiman's house, and Fadela invites him to stay with them for a few days, while Zeinab offers him to share with El Sebouei his room.

El Sebouei lies to El Baghi's son and tells him that his father is sick, which angers El Baghi. As Fushika lives with El Sebouei in his room, he tells Suleiman that he went out to look for a job, but in fact he was sleeping. Amany prepares breakfast with her grandmother.

Suleiman asks Fushika to look for a job. Azza reproaches El Sebouei for his poor salary. As El Sebouei wishes to break his fast in Ramadan because he cannot bear hunger, Dalanda makes fun of him, and Amany eats in front of him to stimulate his appetite and break his fast.

When Fadela learns Fushika smokes, she is afraid that El Sebouei will learn from him. El Sebouei breaks his fast in his room with Fushika and tells Zeinab that Suleiman has given Dalanda a ticket to go to the theater; angry Zeinab kicks him out of the house; he goes to Sebouei and Fushika.

As Fushika works in El Baghi's store, El Sebouei is jealous of him because he thinks he is getting close to Azza. Fadela sends food to Azza and Jannat eats with her, while Zeinab goes out with her friend Fofa.

Jannat asks Azza to make pies, sell them and split the profit. El Sebouei takes all the chairs from the clinic and puts them in his room because he agreed with Fushika to turn the room into a club for playing cards and smoking hookah, but when Suleiman learns, he becomes very angry.

An eccentric patient called Said comes to Suleiman's clinic, which makes Dalanda resents his manner. Zeinab goes out with her friend Fofa, and Fadela is angry with her because she never stays at home. Meanwhile, Fushika suggests that El Sebouei open a store like El Baghi and that he work with him.

Zeinab goes out with Fofa to stay up late, and Suleiman stays at home with the girls until Fushika invites him to El Baghi's store. El Sebouei goes out with his mother, Azza and Jannat to Al-Baraka market to buy jewelry for Azza, who is angry because she wanted to go out with El Sebouei alone.

Zeinab asks Suleiman for money to go out shopping with Fofa. As Fadela is angry about Fofa always going out with the girls and Zeinab, she tells Suleiman to do something about it. Fofa comes to have lunch with Zeinab and criticizes Fadela's dishes.

Suleiman writes a book, prints many copies, and dresses up to go to the book signing event. He gives a copy to Dalanda, writes a special note for her, but when El Sebouei tells Zeinab and shows her the book, she gets angry and screams.

Fofa goes to Suleiman's clinic to have a session. Baghi and Fushika convinces El Sebouei to ask his brother for 500 dinars, or appoint him as a minister of engagement, but El Baghi laughs at him. Suleiman finds out that Dalanda is in a relationship with Chakib.

Dalanda tells El Sebouei that she won't come back to the clinic because Chakib prevents her from working. Sad Suleiman hires Fushika in her place until he finds a new secretary. Zeinab feels remorse because she thought that Dalanda was getting close to her husband.

On the night of El Sebouei and Azza's party, everyone is getting ready, as El Sebouei goes to the public bath and Azza goes to the cosmetics shop. Fofa arrives to the party, as well as Dalanda and her fiancé Chakib. The party is held and everyone is happy.
