Ahmed and Dr. Hoda's father lies in the hospital, and before he takes his last breath, he tells them that he has escaped from a death sentence on charges of murder and asks them to search for their family in the village of Al Mansiya and for his friend Rajeh to lead them to the truth.
Hoda convinces her brother, Ahmed, to accompany her to the village of Al Mansiya. She submits a transfer request to work in the health unit there. She meets Fares, the head of the village, and his son Adel meets them in an inappropriate manner. Hoda hides from everyone the reason for her visit.
Hoda rents a house from Subha to live in with her brother, and Fares informs his son Adel of his suspicion that Hoda and Ahmed are Salem's children and that they have returned to the village to claim their father’s estate.
The village criminals attack Hoda and demand that she leave. Subha confronts them and tells everyone that Hoda is her brother’s daughter. Fares tries to win Hoda’s favor and is afraid of her claiming her inheritance from her father.
Fares tries to convince Hoda and Ahmed to take over their land and give up the water well to him. Adel suggests to his father that he marry Hoda so that they don't lose the wealth. The nurse Shalabi prevents the residents from visiting the clinic in favor of the charlatan Daghash.
Subha seeks to know Hoda’s secret and the identity of her real father, and Zeina, Fares’ daughter, tries to find out the truth that her grandmother is hiding from her.
Fadl fights with his wife, Noura, over her work with Hoda, who gathers the women of the village to help them. Fares' mother scolds her son for treating the people harshly and oppressively and blames him for his brother leaving the village. Hoda rejects Fares’ proposal to marry her.
Fares' mother scolds her son for asking to marry Hoda. Abu Shalfa offers his services and cooperation to Ahmed. The latter insists on leaving the village and returning to where he came from. Adel forces Fadl to agree to the marriage of his minor daughter to Dabaa.
Ahmed reconsiders his decision to leave the village and stays with his sister Hoda, who threatens Adel and Dabaa that she'll report the latter's marriage to a minor to the police. Subha forces Hoda to reveal the secret of her staying in the village.
Ahmed confesses to Zeina his admiration for her. Adel tries to collect information about Hoda and her brother through the Ministry of Health, so Adel hires a group of criminals to beat Ahmed.
The municipality issues a decision from Director Zuhdi to demolish the well in the village and deliver water to the people from Fares's well, and the people quarrel with Hoda.
The people demonstrate against Hoda, who tries to convince Fares to allow the people to use the water from his well. Adel takes advantage of this to push the people to attack her and imprison her in the clinic with her brother.
Dabaa hits Ahmed. Abu Shalfa smuggles food for Hoda inside the clinic. Hoda decides to leave the village. Fares tries to force her to sign a contract, relinquishing the land to him. Fares' mother falls ill and is taken to the hospital.
Abu Makhlouf's son dies, and Fares plots with Abu Makhlouf to accuse Hoda of causing his son's death. Subha tries to reach Hoda and Ahmed, but Fares prevents her.
Fares' mother tries to pressure her son to find out the whereabouts of Hoda and Ahmed. Fares asks Shalabi and Dabaa to move them to another place so that no one can reach them, and the municipality delivers water to the village again.
Adel releases Hoda and Ahmed and they leave the village. The police interrogate her on charges of negligence and causing the death of a child, and it turns out that Daghash was the one who did it.
Abu Shalfa is saddened by Hoda's departure and decides to break up the partnership between him and Adel. Tariq, Subha's nephew, returns to the village, and the interrogations with Hoda continue.
The detective informs Ahmed that the forensic report proved that the child took medications that belonged to Hoda. Ahmed quarrels with Adel, and Tariq tells Fares that Hoda and Ahmed are not his uncle’s children.
Hoda is taken to the hospital, and Abu Shalfa informs the detective about Daghash, so he issues an arrest warrant for him. Fares asks his son Adel to quickly get rid of Hoda.
In a flashback, it is revealed that Abu Asba killed a person, so Fares took advantage of this and convinced his brother Salem to escape so that no one will accuse him of murder. Fares is shocked when he learns that Hoda is his brother’s daughter.
Abu Makhlouf confesses the truth, and Fares falls ill and is hospitalized due to his shock after learning of the death of his brother Salem. He tells his mother the truth.
The police arrest Adel. Hoda is acquitted and refuses to return to the village, but Fares' paralysis forces her to return and meet her grandmother, Fares' mother.
