After Diab's wife dies, she leaves him a little girl whom she calls, Mohja, whom he never leaves even when he goes to work. Aunt Safiya sells the dolls she makes to children and Umm Muhammad tries to find out her secret because she is not from the area.

Diab leaves his daughter Mohja in front of the house and goes out to meet one of the members of the gang he works with. Safiya sees her and goes to talk to her until her father returns, but when he is late, she is forced to take her home with her.

When Mahmoud meets Safiya in the street, she tries to escape from him, as she remembers how he threatens her by accusing her of being his accomplice in the murder of her husband for the inheritance.

Safiya arrives in Baghdad and she and Mohja stay in a hotel, while Mahmoud asks Diab to cooperate with him in finding Safiya and killing her.

Safiya goes to the hairdresser and gets a makeover, then she takes Mohja for a walk with her in Baghdad, while Mahmoud is arrested, and Diab is still looking for his daughter.

Mahmoud is released from the detention prison and goes to Baghdad to find Safiya, while Diab meets a businessman whom he works for as a private driver.

Mohja goes out with Safiya's friend Nadia to the zoo, while Latifa admires Diab and tries to get close to him.

As Latifa is saddened by Diab's lack of interest in her, she gets sick because of it. Mahmoud goes to visit Hantoush in the company and meets Diab.

Nadia quarrels with Abdel Qader and asks Safiya to leave the city, while Diab searches for his daughter, who begins to miss him, and asks Safiya about him.

Safiya learns from Samira that Mahmoud is partnering up with Hantoush in one of his projects, so she decides to get in touch with him, while Mohja keeps imagining her father as if he were with her.

The relationship between Diab and Latifa strengthens, and Samira tells Mahmoud of Safiya's call to her, while Hantoush's wife is jealous over her husband.

Samira tells Diab about Safiya's whereabouts so that he can take his daughter. When Safiya learns that Diab works for Hantoush, she is afraid that he will find out where she is and take Mohja.

As Khatun and her children go to her husband Hantoush's house in the city, Bahija becomes jealous of her, while Diab meets Nadia, hoping to find his daughter, but Safiya takes her.

Safiya and Mohja go to her deceased sister's house to hide with her husband and daughters, while Diab marries Latifa and runs Hantoush's company.

Safiya and Mohja settle in Mosul with her nieces, after which she travels to Baghdad to see Nadia and Samira.

Mahmoud's men kidnap Safiya behind his back and ask her for money in exchange for her release, and she agrees.

Diab meets Sebti, Safiya's brother, and asks him to tell him where his daughter is, while Samira calls Mahmoud and begs him to release Safiya.

The police rescue Safiya from the hands of the two men, and Mahmoud is interrogated. Mohja runs away from the house because she did not find her father there.

As Diab accuses Safiya of kidnapping his daughter, Samira convinces him that Safiya is also looking for her, while Mohja is staying with a family who found her in the street.

Sebti's daughters find Mohja, and Mahmoud kidnaps Safiya and runs away.
