Fathallah becomes in a critical situation after Abdullah kills both Hammad and Jaafar, and tries to arrange a meeting with Sheikh Younis. Nourai's mother asks Fathallah to attend the labor of his wife. As the guards arrest Abdullah, Fathallah is forced to hand him over to the police.

Fathallah gets angry after learning that Shaher will return to Bashnin. Nourai gives birth to her son. Shaher asks Fathallah to go with his mother to visit Abdullah. Nourai's father decides to go to Bashnin to find out why Fathallah did not attend the labor of his wife.

As Fathallah learns that Saber El Husseini is in Cairo, he sends a letter to Nourai. Saber detains Allam before releasing him with a letter to Fathallah. The guard arrests Bashir El Sakhawi despite his knowledge of his friendship with Fathallah who decides to apologize personally to Bashir.

Bashir decides to leave Bashnin to work in his printing press in Kafr El Sheikh. Fathallah knows that Bashir is going to Umm Farha’s house, and asks his mother to put an end to this. The uncle confronts Shaher who wants to marry his brother’s ex-wife, Khadra; Set Ekhwatha tries to stop this marriage.

Fathallah travels to Cairo to attend his son’s birth celebration, as the elite of statesmen are invited. Nourai’s father refuses that Fathallah helps him financially with his trade.

Al-Shestawy appears again disguised as a dervish, as he tells Fathallah that Nasir intends to betray him. As Fathallah goes to visit Al-Jazyia in her father's house, she asks him to build her a new estate as he did for Nourai.

Radwana asks Fathallah to forgive his brother Shaher for what he did. Fathallah asks Nourai to come with him to Bashnin, much to her grandmother's grief. Hajj Abdel Khalek incites Saber to take over the position of mayor in the absence of Fathallah.

The guards arrest Shaher and ask El Sakhawiya to hand over their weapons. As the mayor returns to Bashnin, he decides to prevent Khadra from marrying his brother. Fathallah decides to forbid Shaher to enter the village again.

Shaher admits to the elders of the town that he orchestrated a coup against his brother. Fathallah decides to take his uncle from Kafr El Sheikh with Khadra to his farm. El Sakhawiya insists on taking revenge on El Husseinyah, and they ask Fathallah to hand over Shaher to them.

Fathallah decides to choose Saber El Husseiny as his deputy in order to win him on his side against El Sakhawiya. Nourai prepares to travel to her estate in Kafr El Sheikh.

Nourai's father decides to travel with her to her estate. As Radwana feels guilty about Fathallah's recent behavior, she asks him to pardon Shaher. As Nourai travels to the estate, Kizmat is sad to see her go.

Fathallah is sad about the reaction of his only friend to what he did with his uncle, Khadra and Shaher; he decides to choose a partner for Ragab in his business. Al-Jazyia decides to visit Nourai in her estate. Fathallah discovers that Al-Jazyia was trying to cast a spell in Nourai's house.

Set Ekhwatha warns Fathallah against his alliance with Saber. As Saber warns Fathallah of the danger posed by El Sakhawiya, he decides to devise a plan with the guards and set a trap for his opponents.

Fathallah goes to attend the trial of his brother Abdullah, who is sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, which angers El Sakhawiya, and then goes to visit his sick daughter and Khadra receives him badly. Fathallah apologizes to Kizmat for not receiving her.

Fathallah asks the Sheikh of the mosque to gather the villagers to explain to them what is happening. As Abbas El Sakhawi tries to win over Saber to his side, he continues to demand that Fathallah hand Shaher over to him in order to take revenge.

Kizmat accuses Fathallah of being cruel to his daughter. Fathallah goes to visit the sheriff and asks for additional force to confront El Sakhawiya who are planning to raid the village.

As El Sakhawiya prepare to raid Bashnin, the guards are preparing to implement the agreed plan to lure them into the town and arrest them. Bakry explains the truth about the misunderstanding about his opinion of what he did to Fathallah. Abbas surrenders as soon as he falls into the ambush.

Fathallah and Nourai ask Kizmat to appoint a lawyer to face Yalamz's relative who intends to file a lawsuit against her. Nourai is sad about her husband’s permanent preoccupation with the affairs of his village. Nasir requests Radwana’s hand from Fathallah.

Fathallah sends his delegate, El Manduh, to Khadra's father and asks him to return to his home with Khadra. The uncle is chosen to be the Sheikh of the town. Fathallah decides to reunite the family in the face of El Sakhawiya. Set Ekhwatha objects to Saber's request to marry Radwana.

As Fathallah knows that his son Ismail is mentally disabled, he asks Al-Jazyia to bring him to the village and put him in a private hospital. Fathallah decides to make Shaher meet his mother. Fathallah informs his sister Radwana of Bakry's desire to marry her.

Fathallah decides to publicly announce that Ismail is his son so that he will not be mocked in the town. Nourai becomes pregnant again. Fathallah decides to withdraw the sheikhdom of the mosque from Kairouaniyah. Saber becomes angry when Radwana rejects him.

The husband of Fathallah's aunt refuses that he rejected the position of Sheikh of the mosque in the village. Fathallah gets shot during the celebration of the pilgrim's travel, but he survives the shooting. Ragab tries to persuade Fathallah to reassure Nourai.

El Shattawi asks Fathallah for a plot of land to build a small mosque (Zawya). Shaher tells his brother about his desire to run in the parliamentary elections. Set Ekhwatha travels to perform the Hajj.

Khadra and her daughter disappear, as they don't want to return to Bashnin; Fathallah asks El Manduh to search for them. Fathallah asks El Sakhawiya to hand over those who shot him. Shaher and his men attack El Sakhawiya with their weapons, and 40 people die.

As Fathallah is investigated in connection with the Sidi Ghazi massacre, he is released because there is no evidence to press charges against him; he decides to appoint a lawyer to follow up on his case.

Nourai gives birth to her daughter by Fathallah who complains to Al-Jazyia's father after she leaves the house. Fathallah admonishes his cousin for his disappearance after agreeing to his engagement to Radwana. Bashir blames Fathallah for what happened in the Zawya.

Nourai is sad when she learns that Al-Jazyia is pregnant. Fathallah decides to spend Eid El Adha in the village. As Al-Gawly tells Fathallah the identity of the instigators against him, Fathallah discovers that Abdel Khalek is one of them; Fathallah decides to confront Abdel Khalek.

Al-Gawly admits that he implemented the plan of getting rid of Fathallah at the instigation of Abdel Khalek and Saber. Fathallah goes to Saber to confront him. Kizmat is angered by the growing control of Fathallah in Nourai's estate.

Fathallah goes to find Khadra and his daughter in Kafr Diab to fix things with her. El Burhami asks for a way to atone for the Zawya massacre. Set Ekhwatha returns from the Hajj.

As Fathallah decides to take a tough stand against Abdel Khalek's wife, he gets the official Bakkiyya from the King. Fathallah tries to stop the lawyer Farid Tulan who is trying to swindle Kizmat.

Everyone tries to dissuade Kizmat from marrying Farid Tulan. As Nourai comes to visit the village, she complains to her father, Ragab, about the change of her feelings towards Fathallah.

The police are investigating Farid who is after Kizmat's money and he gets imprisoned. Radwana prepares for her wedding. Abdel Khaleq and Azzam El Husseiny insult Fathallah in the presence of everyone.

Al-Jazyia has a miscarriage. The representative of Fathallah lands into a major problem with Bakr El Sakhawi. Saad Zaghloul dies and the Egyptians mourn him. Fathallah suddenly disappears without anyone knowing his whereabouts for 3 weeks.

Following the disappearance of Fathallah, the Directorate decides to close the estate until his return or issuance of other instructions. As the belongings of Fathallah are found on the shore of the Nile, Saber El Husseiny decides to seize the position of mayor, while Nourai searches for Fathallah.
