Sultan exploits his influence and power to force the people to pay money in exchange for watering the lands, and he asks his assistant, Abu Saree, to get rid of Abdul Hadi.

Abu Al Makarem overhears Abu Saree's conversation with Sultan and discovers that they killed Abdul Hadi, and Sultan harasses the maid Tafidah.

Abu Saree harasses Qamar. Disputes erupt between the co-wives Nabawiya and Zahra, while Sultan asks Abu Auf for his daughter Tafidah's hand in marriage.

Tafidah's father forces his daughter to agree to marry Sultan. Marzouk suspects that Abu Al Makarem is not mute, but rather claims to be so for fear of revealing Sultan's secrets and corruption.

Zahra and Nabawiya plot with Abu Saree to kidnap Tafidah and kill her so that Sultan does not marry her, and Abu Al Makarem leaves the town.

Abu Al Makarem hides from the townspeople after the discovery that he's Mahmoud's son, and the town sheikh tells the story of Mahmoud with the British, and how he fought them.

Abu Al Makarem returns to town and is shocked when he learns that Sultan is getting ready to marry Tafidah, who thinks about escaping with Abu Al Makarem.

Abu Saree warns Abu Auf against exploiting his daughter, Tafidah, by her marriage to Sultan and the transfer of the ownership of the lands to her. Nabawiya vows revenge on Tafidah and Sultan.

Nabawiya tries to convince Abdul Qadir to challenge Sultan in exchange for giving him the mill. Nabawiya, Zahra, and their daughters quarrel with Tafidah’s mother and prevent her from visiting her daughter.

Qamar defies Sutlan by helping Tafidah's mother visit her daughter, so Nabawiya and Zahra take advantage of the matter to drive a wedge between Qamar and Sultan.

The women of Sultan's family come together to beat Tafidah and kick her out of the house, while Nabawiya's brother tries to force Sultan to divorce her.

An unknown person shoots Sultan, while Nabawiya and Zahra fear that Sultan will transfer ownership of any property to Tafidah. The mayor waits for Sultan's death in order to take control of the entire town.

Nabawiya asks Marzouk to help her with her problem, but Zahra orders Abu Saree not to deliver supplies to Marzouk's house in retaliation.

Nabawiya plans with her brother, the mayor, to take revenge on Sultan and Abu Saree. The mayor plots with Abu Saree to kill Marzouk while he is traveling for Hajj. Abu Al Makarem helps Tafidah meet her father behind Sultan’s back.

As Marzouk bids farewell to everyone and travels for Hajj, a message arrives to the mayor about Marzouk’s death on the way, and sadness overwhelms all the people.

As Qamar quarrels with Sitt Abuha over Tafidah, she threatens to expose the secret of Marzouk's murder, so Abu Saree warns Sultan of Qamar's danger.

Qamar refuses to return to the town with Sultan, who tries to come between her and Tafidah. Meanwhile, Nabawiya quarrels with Zahra because of Sultan.

As the police question Abu Saree about Marzouk's murder, Abu Saree warns Qamar not to tell the police what happened.

Abu Saree suspects that Abu Al Makarem reported Marzouk's case to the police, and the people begin to choose someone to succeed Marzouk as sheikh of the town. Sitt Abuha quarrels with Abu Saree over his defending Qamar and refusing to kill her.

Sultan's son refuses Qamar's return to the town. Nabawiya resorts to Abu Taqiyya, the sorcerer, to help her get rid of Tafidah and cast a spell on her so that Sultan would hate and divorce her.

As Qamar tells Sultan that Nabawiya used black magic on Tafidah, he prevents Abu Taqiyya from entering the house. Abu Saree turns to Abu Taqiyya to help him control Qamar and make her love him back.

Tafidah disappears and everyone searches for her, while Nabawiya accuses Qamar of hiding her. Qamar asks Abu Taqiyya to reveal her whereabouts, while Sultan turns to him to help him find her.

Abu Saree finds Tafidah hiding in Marzouk's wife's house. Nabawiya lashes out at Abu Taqiyya for deceiving her and stealing her money under the pretext of getting rid of Tafidah. She asks Abu Saree to take revenge on him.

Nabawiya goes crazy and believes that Tafidah is pregnant, so she tries to abort her baby. Qamar seeks help from Umm Louliya to help her in setting up an exorcism session to exorcise the jinn that is possessing Nabawiya.

Abu Saree forces Tafidah's father to leave town. Qamar asks Sultan to let Tafidah stay in her family’s home until she gives birth, while Sultan’s brother asks Radia to marry him.

After Tafidah gives birth, Sitt Abuha sows doubt in Sultan’s heart and tells him that Tafidah had an affair with his son Sami and became pregnant by him, and that her baby is Sami's.

As the mayor's men kill Tafidah and throw her into the canal, they accuse her father of killing her to get rid of her shame. The police investigate the matter, and Qamar reveals to Sultan the involvement of Nabawiya's brother in the attempt to kill him.
