After Tafidah gives birth, Sitt Abuha sows doubt in Sultan’s heart and tells him that Tafidah had an affair with his son Sami and became pregnant by him, and that her baby is Sami's.
As the mayor's men kill Tafidah and throw her into the canal, they accuse her father of killing her to get rid of her shame. The police investigate the matter, and Qamar reveals to Sultan the involvement of Nabawiya's brother in the attempt to kill him.
