Qamasha tries to convince her husband, Abdul Latif, to sell his family home and move to her father’s house. Meanwhile, Musa gets Naji to help him buy houses in the neighborhood.
Abdul Latif agrees to sell his house to Musa, which upsets his brother Nasser. Naji tries to take advantage of Salman’s naivety and sell him a taxi at a high price.
Nasser becomes angry when he learns that Salman and his brother Salem are cooperating with Musa at work. The latter likes Nasser’s daughter, Laila, while Mubarak proposes to her, but she refuses.
Mubarak works in Nasser's shop, and the latter scolds his nephews Salman and Salem for borrowing money from Musa. Abdul Latif marries Fatima secretly.
Nasser discovers that Mubarak is behind Salman's taxi accident. Musa proposes to Laila, but Nasser refuses.
Salman proposes to Salem to marry Laila. Mubarak works in a barbershop and causes problems. Fares asks Salem to travel with him to Egypt on a business trip.
Mubarak collapses psychologically because he did not marry Laila. Abu Ahmed plans with Musa to buy Abdul Latif's house.
Latifa meets Fatima, her father Abdul Latif's wife, and discovers their secret marriage. The barber refuses to give Mubarak his salary and beats him. Musa is surprised by the valuation of Salem's house. Abu Fares (Fares' father) is worried about the outbreak of war in Egypt.
Marzouk finds Musa's money hidden underground and steals it. Musa tries to persuade Mubarak to help him buy Salem's house. Abdul Latif divorces his wife, Qamasha.
Latifa tells her uncle Nasser about her parents' divorce. As Musa imprisons Marzouk to find out the location of the money, they quarrel and Musa loses his eye. The latter proposes marriage to Mubarak's sister, Sheikha.
Latifa's relationship with her stepmother improves; Salman likes Latifa; Abu Fares and Nasser try to find out how Salem and Fares are doing in Egypt.
Salman is saddened by Musa’s marriage to Sheikha. Salem and Fares die in Egypt, while Nasser falls ill out of grief for Salem.
Nasser's illness becomes severe and he becomes paralyzed. Mubarak regrets his sister's marriage to Musa. Abu Fares falls dead after furniture falls on him in the house.
Salman seeks to obtain a death certificate for his brother Salem so that Laila can marry Mubarak, who asks Musa to divorce Sheikha. Everyone is saddened by the death of Abu Fares.
Musa buys Qamasha's house and agrees to divorce Sheikha in exchange for Salman giving him the house. Everyone is surprised by Salem and Fares' return and that they're not dead. Fares is shocked by the death of his father. Salem and Laila get married, as do Salman and Latifa.
