Samiha's husband insists on celebrating the birth of the twins that Samiha gave birth to, but the building is bombarded and everyone in it dies except Samiha, and she is taken to the hospital. The resistance fighter Zuhdi finds one of the twins, and the teacher Shawqi finds the other.

Zuhdi's wife Farida takes the first child as her son and names him Nagi. Rawhiya travels with her husband Shawqi to her mother and takes the second child as her son and names him Mahrous. Doctor Ali tries to help Samiha find out what happened to her twins.

Zuhdi tries to search for Nagi's family to no avail. He is injured in a raid, and decides to travel abroad with Farida for treatment. Fayza takes her sister Samiha to Cairo, away from the war, and Ali gets close to her.

Ali asks Samiha to marry him, and Shawqi travels to Port Said to search for Mahrous's family, to no avail.

Rawhiya dies, Ali and Samiha get married and have a daughter whom they name Maha, and Zuhdi decides to open a clothing store after returning from his treatment trip.

Shawqi marries Inayat so she'd take care of Mahrous, but she treats him harshly. Fayza asks her sister Samiha to sell the land of the collapsed building, but she refuses.

Shawqi divorces Inayat. As the war ends and years pass, Nagi and Mahrous grow up, and Samiha asks Ali that they return to Port Said.

Zuhdi convinces Farida to return to Port Said, and Samiha remains hopeful of finding her two sons. She asks her husband Ali to build a wall around the land of the collapsed building, and Nagi develops feelings for his friend Nihal.

Samiha's assistant publishes an advertisement in the newspaper about the loss of two twin children during the war. Fayza asks Ali to persuade Samiha to sell the land, and Nagi surprises Zuhdi with his desire to buy Samiha's land.

Samiha meets her son Nagi in the clothing store without knowing that he is her son. He asks to buy the land from her, but she refuses. Zuhdi becomes certain that Samiha is Nagi's mother, but he hides it from her.

Zuhdi is upset because Nagi insists on buying Samiha’s land and attempts to forge death certificates for her two sons so that her husband’s cousins ​​will inherit the land.

Maha meets Nagi and tries to convince him not to buy the land, but Samiha loses the land and her husband’s cousins ​​inherit it. Samiha meets the land guard, and he tells her that Shawqi found a baby during the war.

Samiha succeeds in reaching Shawqi and meets her son, and Zuhdi has no choice but to tell Samiha that he found Nagi on her land during the war. Samiha holds her twin sons in her arms.
