Abu Mubarak (Mubarak's father) prepares to hold a banquet for the people of the neighborhood, and his son Salem resents how his father treats him differently from his twin brother Mubarak. Salem tells Maha that her father rejects their marriage because he caused her brother's death when he was young.

Abu Mubarak aspires to marry Laila despite the age difference between them. Hussein aspires to marry Abu Mubarak's daughter, but he refuses due to the social difference between them.

Abu Mubarak asks Laila's father for her hand in marriage, while Salem asks his aunt to help him marry Maha. As Salem takes his nephew to teach him how to swim, Mubarak keeps looking for him.

Abu Maha scolds his brother Abu Mubarak for wanting to marry Laila due to the age difference between them, but Abu Mubarak marries her secretly.

Salem quarrels with his uncle over the latter’s approval of Maha’s marriage to Fahd. Abu Mubarak lavishes his wife Laila with money and gifts. Munira asks her brother Salem to help Latifa with her problem with her husband.

Salem beats Latifa's husband in retaliation, while Saleh scolds Abu Laila for marrying off his daughter to a man her father's age.

As Saleh informs Salem of his father's marriage to Laila, Salem confronts Abu Mubarak about it. Abu Maha quarrels with his wife, Moudi, and she leaves the house due to his constant suspicion.

Mubarak reconciles Hessa and Abu Maha. Moudi asks Hessa if she can stay with Maha after her marriage, while Fahd prepares to marry the latter.

Salem beats Fahd so that he does not marry Maha, and Fahd is taken to the hospital.

Abu Fahd reports Salem to the police. Abu Maha asks to marry Mubarak's daughter. Abu Mubarak refuses to marry off his daughter Munira to Badr.

As Abu Mubarak dies, someone breaks into the safe and steals the ledgers from his shop.

Mubarak refuses to let his sister Sarah marry the shop assistant, Hussein. The police investigate the theft and Mubarak believes Hussein robbed the shop, while Abu Maha suspects Salem.

As Salem finds the stolen money, Saleh confesses to stealing it. Sarah tries to convince Mubarak to let his sister marry Badr. Mubarak meets and likes Wasmiya.

Saleh refuses to marry Laila, and advises Salem to work in order for his uncle to approve his proposal to marry Maha. Mubarak requests a large sum of money as a dowry for his sister Munira to prevent her from marrying Badr.

Salem quarrels with Moudi for persuading Abu Maha to marry off his daughter to Mansour. Laila asks her mother to help her get Abu Maha to marry her.

Laila asks Abu Maha to marry her. Latifa leaves her husband's house to force him to demand her inheritance from her brothers. Salem plans with Abu Samar to hide his brother Mubarak on the farm and claims that he is wanted in a blood feud case.

Abu Samar kidnaps Mubarak and puts him on the farm. Salem impersonates Mubarak and claims that his brother Salem drowned in the sea. Everyone gets sad, while Salem becomes certain of his uncle’s love for him and his great sadness over him.

Salem takes over his brother Mubarak's business, and asks his uncle for Maha's hand in marriage, while his mother is surprised by the change in his behavior.

Salem agrees to Sarah and Hussein's marriage, and discovers Laila's false claim that she is pregnant so she can marry his uncle.

Salem's situation changes through business, while his brother Mubarak's business flourishes, and the merchants are surprised by how he deals with them. Abu Maha prepares to marry Laila despite Salem's refusal and his doubts about her pregnancy.

Maha refuses to marry Salem, believing that he is Mubarak. Abu Maha marries Laila, giving rise to his wife Moudi's suspicions. Mubarak tries to escape from the farm, but Abu Samar prevents him.

Salem arranges the marriages of his sisters, Munira and Sarah, and insists on Latifa returning to her husband if he transfers ownership of the house to her.

Maha runs away from her father's house. Mubarak succeeds in escaping from the farm and returns to his family, while Salem goes out claiming to be searching for his brother. After he gets into a tragic accident, Salem falls into a coma in the hospital.

Maha stays at Munira's mother's house until Salem returns, and Mubarak is furious because Salem has changed the way he handles the business.

Mubarak gets angry when he learns that his sisters has married Hussein and Badr. Moudi becomes suspicious of Abu Maha when she finds jewelry in his closet. Abu Samar comes to look for Salem, much to the suspicion of Umm Mubarak (Mubarak's mother).

Moudi asks for a divorce. As everyone learns that Salem is in the hospital, he becomes paralyzed, and the plot of his impersonation of his brother Mubarak is revealed. Laila plans with her mother to expel Hessa from Abu Maha’s house.

Mubarak's business is affected in Salem's absence. Laila tries to marry off Hessa in order to get rid of her. Salem asks Mubarak to continue his plan in front of everyone and impersonate him.

Everyone receives Salem after he returns from the hospital, believing that he is Mubarak. Salem asks his brother Mubarak to marry Maha so that she does not marry a crippled person.

Abu Maha refuses to buy Laila a house and considers having her live with Moudi. Mubarak is furious when he learns that Salem unknowingly destroyed his relationship with Wasmiya. Salem asks Mubarak to marry Maha as Salem, but Mubarak refuses and stipulates that he tell her the truth.

Mubarak refuses that Hussein open a shop for his own business. Abu Maha discovers Laila’s greed and divorces her. Wasmiya visits Mubarak and discovers his plot with Salem. Mubarak and Salem marry Wasmiya and Maha, respectively.
