Ibrahim's mother dies, and Ahmed is forced to tell his second wife, Aisha, that Ibrahim's mother was his wife. The people revolt against the taxes imposed by the British, and Abu Suleiman tries to convince Saif to fight the British by smuggling gold.
Ahmed receives condolences for his wife's death, and asks his son Ibrahim to work with him. Saif agrees with Abu Suleiman to get Ahmed to join them. Abu Suleiman warns Awad against marrying Mariana due to her family’s bad reputation.
Ahmed's wife, Aisha, tries to convince him to travel and trade. Mariana sows doubt in Aisha's heart and tells her that Ibrahim is not Ahmed's son. Saif agrees with Ahmed to work with him.
Ahmed threatens Abu Suleiman with informing the Marine Police about his smuggling of gold in a shipment of dates, so Saif suggests to Abu Suleiman that he bargain with Ahmed financially to leave them alone. Awad marries Mariana.
Years pass, and Ahmed refuses that his son travel to work at sea. Abu Suleiman advises Saif to stop smuggling after making a lot of money. Aisha proposes that Sarah and Ibrahim get engaged.
Khalaf asks his father, Saif, to mediate for him to work in the directorate. Abu Suleiman agrees to the marriage of Sarah and Ibrahim. Ibrahim's father prevents his son from trading in gold.
Mariana resorts to magic in order to control Awad, and slanders Sarah in the neighborhood to damage her reputation. Abu Suleiman tries to advise Ibrahim not to travel with Saif and not to smuggle gold.
Ibrahim decides to go through with his marriage to Sarah, despite what is said about her reputation. Saif tells Ibrahim that he is opening a shop to serve as a front for his gold smuggling business.
As Ibrahim scolds Khalaf for imprisoning their friend Issa, he begins preparing to travel. Awad asks his uncle Abu Suleiman to forgive him.
Ibrahim and Sarah's wedding takes place. Ibrahim's father dies, so he decides not to travel and leave his family. He chooses to manage his father's business, much to Saif's anger. Khalaf discovers his father's gold smuggling business.
Ibrahim refuses his younger brother working at sea. Years pass and Ibrahim is forced to continue his trade with Saif, while his financial condition flourishes. Abu Suleiman asks Sarah to persuade Ibrahim to stop his trade in gold.
Khalaf arrests Ibrahim on charges of smuggling gold and impounds his boat. It's revealed that Sultan reported him, and Abu Suleiman berates Saif and Fahd for abandoning Ibrahim and not helping him.
Fahd asks Saif to mediate with his son Khalaf so that Ibrahim can be released. Mariana tries to convince Sarah to divorce Ibrahim.
Ibrahim comes out of prison, and Abdullah tries to convince Saif to work with him, but Saif refuses and wishes to work with Ibrahim again.
Fahd seeks to fix things between Ibrahim and Saif, but Ibrahim stipulates that Saif pay all the money that he incurred during his problem. Awad thinks about divorcing Mariana and getting rid of her.
As Mariana tries to convince Ibrahim's sister to divorce her husband, she hides the contract for selling the house so that Awad does not marry another woman. Fahd scolds Khalaf for waiting for Ibrahim to err in order to imprison him.
Ibrahim insists on divorcing his sister from Khaled, and Mariana tells the latter that Ibrahim is seeking to buy Awad's house with his sister's inheritance. Awad searches for the house contract but cannot find it.
Ibrahim quarrels with his brother Abdullah and warns him against traveling. The latter refuses to give Khaled his money. As masked men beat Khaled and steal his money, Abdullah is accused of that.
Ibrahim helps his brother hide from Khalaf and asks Saif to smuggle Abdullah out of town.
Fahd smuggles Abdullah out of the country, and Khalaf keeps watch over Ibrahim in the hope of arresting his brother.
In India, Abdullah agrees with Saif to work in smuggling gold, and Fahd tries to advise him to back down. Hamed tells Ibrahim that the one who killed Khaled is Sultan.
Hamed refuses to testify before Khalaf, and Ibrahim reveals to the latter his father Saif's trade in gold, and hands him evidence of that.
Awad marries another woman, much to Mariana's jealousy. The English police search Saif's boat to look for gold, but Fahd manages to hide it.
After the police arrest Saif and Fahd, the former asks his son Khalaf to pay his bail to get him out of prison. Meanwhile, Abdullah escapes with the gold, and Awad discovers that Mariana forged the contract to sell the house in her favor.
Awad files a report that Sultan and Mariana forged the house contract. Abdullah tells Abu Mansour about the gold. Fahd tries to sell the gold in the market before the British discover the matter.
Ibrahim agrees with Awad to trap Mariana and Sultan; Fahd sells the gold; Abdullah seeks to return to Kuwait.
The police arrest Sultan on charges of forgery. Fahd tells Ibrahim what happened to his brother, his cooperation with Saif in smuggling gold, and his mortgaging his house.
Mansour tries to convince Abdullah to work in his father's shop. Ibrahim receives word claiming that his brother is imprisoned in India. Khalaf agrees with Ibrahim to pay his father's bail and get him out of prison.
Awad imprisons his wife, Mariana so that she does not cause problems with the villagers, while his second wife tells him of her pregnancy. Fahd and Ibrahim travel, and Saif is released from prison.
Ibrahim fails to find Abdullah. As Ibrahim pays off the mortgage on the house, Saif tries to force him to return to smuggling gold, and the latter accidentally kills his son.
