As Farah and her husband Samer go to Riyadh for Samer's job, they rent a house from Umm Yousef (Yousef's mother). Abu Feras (Feras's father) tries to convince his wife to be firmer with their children in order to maintain control of them.
Abu Feras asks Sou'ad to limit her contact with the new neighbors. Jalila quarrels with her husband as he objects to her work as a writer, which has led her to neglect their son. An extremist Sheikh starts to rally young men at the mosque and provoke their fighting instincts.
With his son smoking cigarettes, Abu Feras quarrels with his son and beats him, leaving Feras to decide to leave the house. Samer loses his temper with Farah and starts treating her harshly.
Samer admonishes Farah over her relationship with the neighbors, asking her to limit her contact with them. Jalila and her husband quarrel again because of her job.
Umm Feras (Feras's mother) is shocked when her son leaves the house after being severely beaten by his father. Anas admonishes Salma when he spends a long time without seeing or talking to her.
Hanady rebukes her mother for spoiling Feras to the point where he left the house. Jalila tells her husband, Marzouq, that she dislikes his work as a mechanic. Feras stays with one of his classmates.
Abu Feras asks Sou'ad to keep the news of what happened with Feras from the neighbors, but the curious Bahiya tries to figure out what happened. As Abir gets several phone calls, her husband Jamal grows suspicious of her.
Samer treats Farah with arrogance. Abu Yousef (Yousef's father) is annoyed that his neighbor Marzouq demanded a lot of money for fixing his car. Salma continues to meet young men online.
As Hanady falls for Yousef, she tries to get his attention through the phone. Umm Abdel Rahim (Abdel Rahim's mother) grows worried that her son is hiding something. Feras returns home after he gets arrested along with his classmates at a coffee shop. Abir discovers that she is pregnant.
Umm Yousef tries to convince Bahiya to reconcile with Sou'ad. When Bahiya reads her husband Tal'at's diaries, she complains at him since he wants to have children while she is infertile. The Ministry of Interior declares the discovery of a terrorist plot targeting the city of Riyadh.
Jamal disapproves of Abir's pregnancy. An extremist Sheikh tries to get Abdel Rahim to join them for jihad.
Bahiya continues to try and learn everything that is happening with her neighbors. As the news about the car bomb spreads, Samer refuses to have any contact with his neighbor, Yousef.
The principal asks Sou'ad to stop making political speeches in class. As Jamal continues to oppose Abir's pregnancy, Abir decides to go to her family in Lebanon to give birth.
Abu Feras tries to convince his daughter Hanady to accept gifts from his friend, Abu Abdullah. Samer reluctantly agrees to let Farah invite their neighbor over.
Bahiya grows upset when she learns about Abir's pregnancy. Salma exploits her friend Hanady to chat online with boys. Hanady quarrels with her father as she grows fed up with his oppression of the family.
When Salma tells her mother that Hanady likes her brother Yousef, Umm Yousef grows upset. Bahiya decides to consult a doctor in an attempt to have children.
Farah tells Jalila about her traditional marriage. As the city witnesses a terrorist attack, the incident leaves its mark on Umm Yousef. Samer is annoyed that his manager has admonished him for his arrogance and overstepping with his colleagues at work.
Sou'ad admonishes her daughter Hanady for her feelings for Yousef, especially as Umm Yousef asks her to keep Hanady away from her son. The Sheikh asks Abdel Rahim to go back to praying at the mosque to avoid questions about his absence.
The terrorist Sheikh decides to train Abdel Rahim at arms so that he could take part in future operations. Umm Feras refuses to accept Abu Abdullah's gifts.
Annoyed with Samer's arrogance with her, Jalila tries to advise Farah to ignore his behavior. Yousef discovers that Abu Abdullah wants to propose to Hanady.
Farah tries to convince her mother not to force her sister, Marah, to marry against her will. As the police raid the terrorists' lair, the terrorist Shadad gets arrested. Bahiya starts treatment for her childbearing problem.
Jalila discovers that Samer has beaten his wife. Samer quarrels with his manager after he assaults his colleague, Jamal, and makes fun of his designs, leading his manager to dismiss him. Umm Farah (Farah's mother) asks Shaden to stay away from her daughter.
As Abu Feras learns about his daughter's relationship with Yousef, he decides to marry her off to Abu Abdullah. Feras tries to kill himself. Farah asks Samer for a divorce.
Salma tells her mother that she loves one of her online friends. Samer divorces Farah. The Sheikh of the mosque tries to convince Abdel Rahim to let go of religious extremism.
A terrorist attack takes place at the compound where Abu Yousef and Abu Feras live, leaving many injured and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
As Abdel Rahim prepares to travel, he bids his mother farewell but keeps the news of what he is up to from her. The police start investigating the terrorist attack to locate the culprit.
Abdel Rahim continues his training at arms. Jalila takes care of Farah after her face gets disfigured during the terrorist attack.
As the police question the incarcerated terrorists, the mosque's Sheikh tries to encourage young men to stay away from terrorism and uphold the proper teachings of religion.
Abir passes away. As Jamal recovers from illness, he decides to hold an anti-terrorism exhibit. Bahiya passes away. Umm Yousef suffers a breakdown and decides to return to the Levant after her daughter's death.
