Mubarak tells his friend Nayef that he wants to sell the taxi he owns and open a store. On the other hand, Mubarak's brother offers Khaled to work with him in the stock market, but the latter is afraid that his father Mubarak will refuse.
Abu Bakr loses his money on the stock market, so Mubarak and Nayef support him and take him to a doctor due to his poor psychological condition. The employee Mosaed takes Mubarak’s car and asks him to take him to the airport. The police arrest Mosaed before he travels with the employees’ salaries.
Ayoub meets Mubarak, and Mubarak invites him to eat at his house, while Khaled, on the other hand, continues to work with his uncle at the stock exchange.
Ayoub tells Mubarak his problem with his son Ismail, who refuses to work and lives unemployed all the time, and his wife Fatima’s suffering from his addiction to alcohol, so Mubarak and his children seek to help Ismail work and not depend on his father’s wealth.
The couple, Lutfi and Etemad, take a taxi with Mubarak, and the latter notices that there are problems between them that almost lead to divorce, so he tries to reconcile them.
Khaled achieves success in his work in the stock market and offers his parents to travel to perform the Hajj, but Mubarak refuses, and Ahmed convinces his mother to enroll in literacy classes.
Mubarak moves with his family to a large house and rejects the development in which his family lives. Khaled becomes a businessman and objects to his father continuing to work as a taxi driver. Mubarak meets Saleh, who asks his uncle Ibrahim to help him.
Abu Saleh blames his son for resorting to Ibrahim to help him get a job. Abu Saleh tells Mubarak what his brother did to him, so Mubarak seeks to reconcile the matter between the two brothers.
Mubarak remembers his old life, and his wife blames him for going to their old house. Mubarak tells her that he only feels comfortable in his old house and quarrels with his son Muhammad for being away from home for long periods.
Mubarak complains to Nayef that his children reject his job as a taxi driver and asks him to help him open a store without his family’s knowledge. Muhammad decides to get married and is afraid to tell his father about it.
Umm Khaled continues to learn and prepares to take the literacy test, and her son Ahmed helps her study. On the other hand, Muhammad tries to convince his father to agree on his marriage to his colleague Ahlam.
Mubarak agrees to marry Muhammad to Ahlam and asks her father for her hand in marrrage, but the latter refuses due to the social and financial difference between them and mocks Mubarak’s poor family.
Mubarak's brother Sorour falls ill and needs a kidney transplant, so Mubarak decides to donate to him. The latter remembers his brother's previous refusal to help him, but Sorour dies and leaves all his money to his brother.
