As Sayed attacks and steals Hammam's house incognito, Abdo tries to gather the people to try to stop the thief (Sayed), and Hammam turns to Mayor Anwar, who refuses to help him.

In a flashback, Wedad remembers how her father, the mayor, separated her from Ghaith by killing him. Asran asks to marry Watania. It turns out that the head watchman is colluding with Sayed in the theft incidents in the village.

In a flashback, Anwar and the head watchman devise a plot to get rid of Ghaith, and in the present, Hilal promises Barakat to provide him with a work contract outside Egypt. Wedad blames her father Anwar for Ghaith's killing. Barakat prepares to travel to the Gulf.

Anwar plans to seize the land of Hassuna and Abdo and force them to sell it to establish a big project on it. Abdo refuses to sell his land to Anwar, who sets Abdo's land on fire in revenge.

Asran assaults Maati in protest of the latter's attempts to force him to sell his father's land. Anwar besets the farmers grievously by killing their livestock and preventing them from receiving their agricultural supplies.

Maati proposes to Anwar to put Wedad in a psychiatric hospital, but Zahra refuses. Safwa, Osama's student, falls in love with him. Asran assaults Wardan and Abboud after discovering that they want to sell their share of the land to Anwar and Maati.

Osama is shocked by Mahmoud and Barakat's objection to his relationship with Safwa. The police arrest Asran after assaulting Banhawi. Fadlawi resorts to the help of Sayed El Natat to force Abdo, Hammam and the rest to sell their land.

Anwar forces Wedad to be admitted into a psychiatric hospital. Barakat falls in love with Safwa. Abdo threatens to divorce his wife after objecting to his disputes with her brother.

Anwar pushes Ayyash to file a case against Abdo after the latter falls behind on paying his debt to him. The prosecution refuses to release Asran. Safwa tries to get close to Barakat.

Safwa confesses her love for Barakat, who advises Osama to stay away from her. Sayed threatens to kill Shaaban to keep him away from Labiba. Anwar devises a plan to marry Maati off to Azimah.

Wedad is discharged from the psychiatric hospital. Asran escapes from prison and hides in Abdel Hadi's house. Azimah runs away for fear of being forced to marry Maati. Asran breaks into Ayyash's house and threatens him to drop his case against his father.

Anwar forces Zaidan to file a report and accuse Asran of kidnapping Azimah. Abdullah fires Barakat from work and threatens him with imprisonment if he doesn't pay his debt. Abdel Hadi and Asran shoot Anwar.

Anwar survives the attempt on his life, and accuses Asran of trying to kill him. As the police arrest Watania and Abdo, Abdel Hadi and Asran turn themselves in, and Osama returns to Egypt.

Sayed plans to rob Abdo's house, thinking that Osama handed him a bag of money belonging to Barakat. Azimah returns after her attempt to escape fails. Sayed sets fire to Abdo's land as a distraction to steal the bag, only to discover that it is empty. The police arrest Abdo.

Abdo is released after Zaidan drops the charge. Everyone discovers that Sayed is Natat El Hayt. Tayea dies. As Asran escapes from prison again, the people revolt to take revenge on Anwar, Sayed and Maati.
