Ships are invaded by pirates, and Maryam and her brother Nadim lead the pirate gang for the purpose of distributing the spoils to the poor. Dahi meets Maryam and likes her, while Dahi’s wife, Taiba, treats his parents poorly.
Taiba divides Dahi's house between herself and his parents. Abu Lafi (Lafi's father) demands that Shamlan pay his debts or else his house will be seized. Dahi prepares to return to his country with the ship's crew.
The merchant Ben Shaher cooperates with Zaid in trading in the market, while Taiba leaves the house, and Maryam tries to convince Nadim not to rob the sailors again.
With his sister Wasmiya getting older, Shamlan is upset that she has not been married yet. The police chase Maryam and Nadim while they are selling their loot in the market. Dahi succeeds in saving the boat from sinking.
Shamlan works for Ben Shaher. Umm Shamis proposes to Wasmiya to marry Abu Lafi, which causes Munira, the latter’s daughter, to be upset. Nadim plans with Maryam on a new piracy operation. Dahi takes over the command of the boat after the captain falls ill.
Dahi arrives at the village and thinks about leaving his job at sea. Umm Shamis suggests to Abu Lafi that he forgive Shamlan’s debt so that Wasmiya will agree to marry him. Mahmoud gets close to Maryam, unaware that she is part of the pirate gang.
Mahmoud tells Maryam about his timber trade and confesses that he likes her. Dahi's mother convinces her son to marry Wasmiya, while Ben Shaher offers Dahi and Saad another trip at sea.
Maryam fails to collect donations from university students after quitting piracy. Shamlan is forced to sell the house to pay off Abu Lafi's debt. Wasmiya is upset with Dahi's decision to travel.
Abu Lafi punishes Umm Shamis by expelling her from the house. Wasmiya is promoted at her job and becomes the school principal. It turns out Mahmoud is getting close to Maryam in order for her to return to piracy. Shamlan tells Ben Shaher of his decision to travel to Egypt to publish his articles.
Zaid blames Abu Lafi for making him lose his business with Ben Shaher. Mahmoud donates a large sum of money to the university in order to control Maryam.
Mahmoud remembers what happened with his father when he was young and his death before his eyes. Dahi returns from traveling and tells Ben Shaher that he will not work at sea again.
Mahmoud tells Maryam that the reason behind his donation is to get closer to her. Dahi works in repairing ships. After the captain dies, Ben Shaher thinks about who will replace him.
Abu Lafi pressures Ben Shaher to choose a new captain to avoid any more loss. Nadim dies after a quarrel with a police officer, and the pirate leader asks Mahmoud to pressure Maryam to find out where Nadim hid the treasure.
Abu Dahi tells his wife that Ben Shaher lost his business after the death of the captain, so Dahi is forced to travel again and work in the captain's place. Maryam is still hurt by the loss of her brother Nadim.
Maryam decides to return to working with the pirates out of loyalty to Nadim. Ben Shaher tells Abu Dahi that he wants to travel by sea. Shamlan and Fayrouz seek to set up a book printing house. Wasmiya gives birth to her first child.
Maryam marries Mahmoud. After Abu Lafi forces his daughter, Munira, to marry someone older than her, she runs away from home. Dahi’s boat sinks.
Munira goes to hide at Zaid's. Ben Shaher remembers his late wife. Maryam bids farewell to her parents to travel with Mahmoud.
Zaid scolds Abu Lafi for forcing his daughter to to get married. Dahi tries to swim to land. Maryam prepares with Mahmoud for a boat raid.
Maryam finds an unconscious Dahi and takes care of him until he regains consciousness, while rumors spread throughout the town that Dahi has drowned and died.
Wasmiya is forced to sell the gold to be able to support herself. Dahi loses his memory and works with Maryam to defend the poor. Ben Shaher sells all his possessions.
Ben Shaher finds Saad alive in the hospital. Dahi and Maryam move the treasure to another place, while Fatima believes that there is a relationship between them.
Ben Shaher decides to search for Dahi after the hope of him being alive is renewed. Maryam decides to distribute the treasure among the pirates, but the police arrest them before that.
The police question Dahi, and he remembers that he is a captain. Ben Shaher and his son visit Maryam's father, while Dahi is imprisoned in India. Maryam informs the police of the location of the treasure, and by opening the box, they find stones inside.
As Saad discovers that Dahi is imprisoned, Ben Shaher insists on Saad leaving and going home and on his son taking on Dahi’s case to get him out of prison. Mahmoud tells Khan that Burhan took the gold and left.
A flashback reveals that Nadim placed the real gold box with his friend Rashid in order to hide it from Burhan. Maryam plans with Abdullah and Fatima to escape from prison.
Rashid hands over the gold box to Ben Shaher. Fatima suspects that Mahmoud is a police informant. Wasmiya tries to convince her brother Shamlan to marry her colleague.
The police look for those who escaped from prison. As Khan tries to force Maryam to find out the location of the box, he falls from the top of the mountain and dies.
Shamlan and Aisha's wedding takes place. Ben Shaher is able to obtain compensation for the shipwreck and personal compensation for both Dahi and Saad.
As Dahi arrives with Maryam to Bombay, he meets Ben Shaher. It's revealed that Mahmoud is a police officer who has trapped Burhan, so he confesses to all his crimes.
As Dahi returns with Ben Shaher to his country, he reunites with his family and receives financial compensation for what happened to the ship. Maryam takes revenge on her brother's killer.
