Mondy misses the opportunity to travel abroad after saving the little girl, Aisha, from the fire. When he thinks that Zaghdana is drowning in the sea, he rushes to save her, so she suspects that he is trying to get close to her.

Houda's boy sees Zaghdana with Mondy and rushes to tell Houda, who quarrels with Mondy because of Zaghdana. The English boat breaks down in the port and its captain sees Zaghdana and falls for her.

The captain of the boat informs Houda of his wish to get close to Zaghdana. Houda warns El Koumi against the return of his daughter, Zaghdana, to the English boat.

Mondy works in the Saloufa Café. El Koumi warns his daughter, Zaghdana, that the captain of the English boat mustn't see her. Hikmat and Zeinat flirt with Mondy.

Jaber asks his nephew Mondy to pack his things and leave the Saloufa Café, especially since the job does not suit the family. El Koumi asks Zaghdana to agree to marrying Houda.

Houda incites his men to beat Mondy, who stands up to them and teaches them a harsh lesson. El Koumi agrees to Mondy’s marriage to Zaghdana. After the Englishman rapes Zaghdana, El Koumi goes with the people of Alexandria to the boat for retribution.

Mondy tries to take revenge on the Englishman, but an English soldier sees him and shoots him, and everyone thinks that he is dead. Houda goes to El Koumi and asks to marry his daughter, but Zaghdana refuses. Mondy sneaks into the boat and kills the Englishman.

Uncle Jaber and the people of Alexandria learn that Mondy is still alive and that he killed three English soldiers. Mondy hides with his friend Mu'nis, after which he goes to see Zaghdana in her room.

Mondy agrees with El Koumi to go to Cairo and tells him that he refuses to marry any girl but Zaghdana. When an English officer suspects the disguised Mondy, he decides to escape before he gets arrested.

Ahmed El Hamamsi gets to know Zaghdana. Mondy goes to Sergeant Abdo and asks him to help him travel outside the country.

Abdo helps Mondy work on a boat. When Shabeita quarrels with Mondy on his first day of work on the boat, Mondy sneaks up on Shabeita and warns him to stay away from him.

Shabeita asks Abdo about Mondy's story, and Abdo tells him that Mondy is wanted by the British. Ahmed grows fond of Zaghdana and asks her to work in his father's villa.

After the boat catches fire and Mondy survives, the current takes him to an English camp. Mondy is surprised that Shabeita is still alive and decides to make a fresh start with him and they become friends.

Ruby practices his hobby of teasing Mondy and Shabeita, and Shabeita tells Mondy to avoid him, especially since they are new to the camp and he is old. Zaghdana discovers that Ahmed is participating in the Egyptian resistance against the British occupation.

Teresa grows fond of Mondy, and she goes to Shabeita to ask him about Mondy and his story, whereupon Shabeita makes sure she likes his friend. Zaghdana makes certain that Ahmed admires her.

Shabeita teaches Ruby a harsh lesson after they have a big quarrel. Mondy tells Teresa he is in a relationship with Zaghdana who lives in Alexandria. The English commissioner orders that Mondy and Shabeita be detained for six months during which they must work at the British camp.

Teresa visits Mondy in prison and tells him that she will not abandon him no matter what. Zaghdana joins Ahmed in the Egyptian resistance against the British occupation.

Zaghdana tells Ahmed's mother about her son's work with the resistance and asks her to find a way for him to travel outside the country, especially after the British found out about him. Shabeita asks Mondy not to interfere between him and Ruby.

Teresa tells Mondy that she arranged his escape and agreed with the men, but he tells her that he will not go without his friend Shabeita. The British kill Ahmed, El Koumi and Teama while they chant for Egypt against the British, after which Zaghdana collapses.

Mondy gets a weapon and goes to Ruby's cell to kill him, but he is surprised that he is not inside, and the English soldiers arrest Mondy. Teresa tries to intervene so that the commander does not sentence Mondy to death.

Ruby treacherously kills Shabeita, and Mondy collapses after his friend's death. Zaghdana escapes from Ahmed's mother's villa. Teresa asks the camp commander to help her smuggle Mondy in exchange for meeting his demands.

Mondy tells Teresa that he will not stop until he takes revenge on Ruby for the treacherous murder of his friend Shabeita. Teresa tells Mondy that she has arranged his escape from the camp.

Mondy escapes from prison, goes to Ruby's cell, and kills him. The camp commander learns that Mondy has killed Ruby and decides to execute him on the spot. Inayat takes Zaghdana to her home.

The English soldiers arrest Mondy and Teresa after the latter's attempt to help him escape from the camp. The camp commander slaps Teresa after learning of her plan to help Mondy escape.

Zaghdana informs Inayat of her decision to return to Alexandria. When Zaghdana asks Hamo about her beloved Mondy, he tells her that he hasn't heard from him for a while. Zaghdana joins the resistance group in Alexandria

Teresa hatches a plan for Mondy to escape again. Inayat's husband asks her to ask Zaghdana to work as a dancer in the nightclub.

The camp commander learns that Teresa helped Mondy escape from the camp and orders her execution by firing squad. Inayat tries to convince Zaghdana to work as a dancer.

Teresa is killed, and Mondy returns to Alexandria. When Houda sees Zaghdana dancing in the club, he goes crazy and asks Madbouly and Inayat to let her go.

Mondy joins the resistance group in Alexandria, and he searches for his sweetheart Zaghdana everywhere. Houda asks Zaghdana again to marry him, but she tells him that she still loves Mondy. Zaghdana returns to Alexandria and is reunited with her lover, Mondy.
