Hadidan leaves the tribe with his children, his wife, and his mother-in-law. Believing that his mother-in-law is possessed by jinn, he ties her up and brings a Sheikh to examine her. The people of the tribe are saddened to learn of Hadidan and his family's departure.
On their way out of their tribal residence, Hadidan wins a bet and he and his son bathe in the river. As the family arrives at the place of a new tribe, Hadidan delightfully recounts to them what he has gone through.
Hadidan throws a banquet in celebration of winning the bet, but when he serves the people meatless bones, they grow to think he is stingy. Hadidan steals his neighbor's chicken, and he learns that the house he resides at is haunted by jinn.
Hadidan's mother-in-law befriends the people of the tribe as well as Ishak's wife. As Hadidan's son goes to the traditional elementary school, the Sheikh beats him for being thick-headed. When Hadidan outwits Ishak, the people of the tribe mock him.
A girl at the tribe develops a crush on Khamis, Hadidan's son, but he rejects her. Ishak and Hadidan reconcile. Fearing that the house is indeed haunted, Hadidan's wife and her mother go to their neighbors' to have lunch there.
Jom'aa goes to Hadidan's house with food for Khamis. Hadidan's wife kicks him out when she sees Jom'aa there. Ishak's wife believes that what happened to Hadidan is the effect of the spell her husband cast on him. Hadidan returns home and his children rejoice.
Hadidan decides to become an apothecary and uses his donkey to sell his stuff, much to Ishak's annoyance. Ishak deludes Hadidan into believing that the donkey will only bring him bad luck and gets Hadidan to sell him the donkey.
Hadidan devises a plot to exact revenge on Ishak, by telling him he's headed to the market to buy a dog with magical powers, while Hadidan's mother-in-law disguises as the dog. Ishak buys the dog first in order to sell it to Hadidan for much more money, but Hadidan tells him he changed his mind.
Hadid's family feel unguarded since they believe their house is haunted. Ishak still uses sorcery to drive Hadidan out of the tribe, but his sorcery backfires as it brings Hadidan good luck and he finds a purse with money.
Khamisa has a crush on Jom'aa's cousin, Kemisha. When Hadidan tells Ishak he quarreled with his wife, Ishak takes him back home. Dawaha's mother asks their neighbor for food, and her daughter gets mad at her.
Jom'aa gets a sheep from Kemisha to give it to Hadidan's family. Al-Khadraa, Kemisha's mother, doesn't want him to wed Khamisa. Jom'aa and Kemisha go to Hadidan's house with the sheep, and the children rejoice.
Al-Khadraa is mad when she learns that Kemisha gave the sheep to Hadidan. Kemisha runs away on the first day of the Eid (feast). Hadidan refuses to give the sheep back and he and his family feast on it.
The judge visits the tribe and both Hadidan and Ishak quarrel over who will get him a better gift. Hadidan gifts the judge with a hammer, while Hadidan buys him a donkey. Hadidan outsmarts the judge as he deludes him into getting the donkey.
Al-Khadraa grows wroth when she learns that her son proposed to Hadidan's daughter. She tells Dawaha that she won't let her son marry Khamisa. Dawaha then tells Hadidan what happened, and the grandmother decides for Khamisa to marry Kemisha.
The judge asks Sheikh Zaidone to bring him Hadidan for he needs his assistance. Kemisha attempts suicide and throws himself into the well, hence urging Al-Khadraa to accept his wedding to Khamisa.
Ishak asks the judge to help him get back his rights that Hadidan denied him, but Hadidan manages to defend himself. Al-Khadraa continues scheming to make sure Kemisha won't marry Khamisa.
At Al-Khadraa's orders, some of the women of the tribe go to Hadidan's house to see Khamisa, who refuses to wear any makeup, and they like her. Hadidan starts working for the judge as he spies on the criminals for him.
Hadidan manages to uncover a plot that Ishak devised with two people, and he provides evidence proving that Ishak is a fraud.
Khamis refuses to wed Jom'aa because she is not pretty. Ishak quarrels with his wife, who is much older than he is, and when he decides to marry Hadidan's mother-in-law, his wife leaves the house.
Hadidan becomes the judge's deputy in his absence, and it earns him the respect of the tribe. Meanwhile, the Sheikh is prompted to stir discord between Hadidan and the judge. Kemisha brings different kinds of food among other things from the market.
As their wedding approaches, Kemisha and Khamisa's mothers give them advice on how to live as a married couple. Hadidan's mother-in-law tells Ishak she accepts to marry him, and he warns her daughter that Hadidan has changed and urges her to watch him.
Hadidan's mother doesn't attend his daughter's wedding, the thing that enrages Dawaha. Hadidan's mother-in-law is disheartened when Ishak doesn't attend the wedding ceremony. She asks Hadidan to reconcile with Ishak, and Hadidan tells her he doesn't object to their marriage.
Dawaha gets mad and decides not to visit her daughter the next morning, as she learns that Al-Khadraa doesn't want her to visit. Hadidan starts working as the judge, but no one really consults him.
As Ishak starts working for another tribe, he quarrels with a woman who turns out to be the head of the tribe. The Sheikh accuses Hadidan's son of defrauding the citizens and practicing usury, landing Hadidan in a tight spot with the judge.
Another group makes a complaint to the judge, claiming that Kemisha and Khamis used Hadidan's position to accept bribes, but Khamis tells the judge that the Sheikh is the one who asked him and Kemisha to take bribes.
Ishak disguises himself and goes to the judge to file a complaint against Hadidan. He manages to get other people whom Hadidan defrauded, and Hadidan admits that Ishak is saying the truth.
Hadidan tells the judge that Ishak is telling the truth, but people voluntarily turned to him both times he pretended to be a virtuous Sheikh and a mighty sorcerer; they were neither deceived nor forced into it.
When the judge learns that Hadidan also outwitted the judge of his previous tribe, he has him imprisoned. A woman steps in and says that Hadidan married her and they have two kids together. She then meets Dawaha and tells her that she is Hadidan's wife.
In prison, Hadidan tries to figure a way to break out. Meanwhile, his second wife beats Dawaha up, and the former's kids tie Dawaha's youngest son to a tree.
