Adham, Mazhar's son, marries Mayassin. Shahinaz, Adham's mother, orders Umm Mayassin (Mayassin's mother) to leave the house after the latter asked her to stay on her daughter's wedding night. Adham beats his wife, Mayassin, on their wedding night.

As Umm Mayassin goes to check on her daughter, Shahinaz Khanum receives her badly. Mayassin quarrels with Zahria because of Zahria's insult to her mother. Adham gets angry at Mayassin and orders her not to eat with them at the dining table.

As Mayassin confesses to her husband, Adham, that she was forced to marry him, Adham goes crazy and assaults Mayassin. Shahinaz Khanum turns to the midwife Umm Moyassar to try to persuade Mayassin to accept her husband, Adham.

Mazhar Bey goes to Murad, his daughter Zahria's husband, and tries to reconcile them. Shahinaz Khanum refuses that Mayassin's sister, Hamida, enter her son Adham's room, after which Shahinaz kicks Hamida out of the house.

Abu Jawad (Jawad's father) asks Mazhar Bey for permission to see his daughter Mayassin. Shahinaz suspects that the reason Mayassin has been rejecting her son Adham so far is that she loves someone else. As Shahinaz asks Umm Moyassar to examine Mayassin to see if she's a virgin, she makes sure of it.

The police arrest Jawad for beating Abu Ajwa, whereupon the officer accuses Jawad of beating Abu Ajwa. Umm Jawad implores Zahria to have her husband, Murad, intervene and get Jawad released from prison, but she refuses.

As Abu Sharif tries to intervene and get Jawad out of prison, he promises Officer Murad to solve the problem between Jawad, Abu Ajwa, and Abu Tahoun. Adham confesses his love to his wife, Mayassin. Jawad is released from prison.

Adham refuses that Mayassin go to her father's house to check on her brother, Jawad. Mazhar Bey asks his men not to harm Jawad and to leave him alone. Umm Sharif quarrels with her stepdaughter, Jamila, and beats her.

As Mazhar Bey's men try to pick a fight with Jawad, Abu Sharif intervenes and saves the situation. Umm Jawad learns that Adham has assaulted Mayassin.

Adham insults Abu Jawad and asks him to bring his wife to work as a maid in the house. Jawad quarrels with his brother-in-law, Adham, because of what he did to his father.

When Officer Murad learns of Jawad's quarrel with Adham, he brings him to the police station and tortures him. Murad tells Jawad that he will release him from prison on the condition that he kiss Adham's shoe. Indeed, Jawad agrees and kisses Adham's shoe, but he threatens him.

Abu Jawad goes to Mazhar Bey and asks that he and Jawad visit his daughter, Mayassin. Umm Sharif causes a burn to her stepdaughter's hand.

Shahinaz accuses Mayassin of stealing gold and money from the house, and Mazhar Bey accuses Abu Jawad of theft and tells Murad to search his house for the stolen items. Officer Murad arrests Abu Jawad and his son and takes them to the police station on charges of theft.

Umm Issam tells her brother, Abu Sharif, that his wife Iftikar (Umm Sharif) treats his daughters badly and warns him not to ignore the matter. Umm Mayassin goes to Mazhar Bey's house and tells Shahinaz Khanum that she is ready to work as a maid in the house, which her daughter refuses.

Shahinaz Khanum goes to her daughter Zahria's house and tells her husband, Officer Murad, that Zahria has no issues that would impede her from getting pregnant. Shahinaz orders Mayassin to clean the entire house and tells her that if she doesn't obey, she'll take revenge on her by hurting her family.

Shahinaz cuts Mayassin's hair out of spite. Abu Sharif beats his daughter because of his wife Iftikar's constant incitement against her. Adham deliberately insults his wife, Mayassin, in front of his father and mother.

Mayassin asks Adham for a divorce, but he refuses. Shahinaz goes to Umm Sharif's house and tells her that she wants to ask for Jamila's hand in marriage for her son, Adham. Jamila refuses to marry Adham, but her father forces her to agree.

Jamila collapses as she refuses to marry Adham. The sheikh goes to Abu Sharif's house and requests that he ask the bride whether or not she agrees to the marriage. Jamila agrees to marry after great pressure from her father and aunt.

Jawad tells his father about forcing Adham to divorce his sister, Mayassin, and his father warns him not to approach Adham again. Murad thinks of marrying another woman besides his wife, Zahria, because she hasn't gotten pregnant.

Jamila runs away from her father's house. Iftikar incites her husband, Abu Sharif, against his daughter, Jamila, and tells him that Jawad has been talking to her for hours at the door of the house, whereupon Abu Sharif loses it, goes to Jawad's house, and beats him in front of people.

Murad orders that Jawad be brought to the police station, and as he asks him about Jamila, Jawad denies having anything to do with Jamila or her escape. Murad quarrels with Adham and throws him out of his office. As Murad asks to marry Hamida, Abu Jawad agrees.

As Murad marries Hamida, the latter finds on the marriage bed a snake, which was placed for her by Zahria, her co-wife. Adham quarrels with his wife, Mayassin, over Murad's marriage to her sister, Hamida.

Murad pampers his wife, Hamida, and tells her that if she bears him a boy, she will be the one in control of the house. Abu Sharif confronts Jawad again and asks him where his daughter Jamila is, and Jawad denies his knowledge of Jamila's escape and is expelled by Abu Sharif.

When Zahria tells her husband, Murad, that she is pregnant, Murad goes to bring the midwife to make sure of the matter. The midwife Umm Moyassar deceives Murad and tells him that his wife was pregnant but lost the fetus. A masked man shoots Adham.

Shahinaz Khanum quarrels with Mayassin and kicks her out of the house. Mayassin goes to her father's house and tells him that she can no longer bear to live in Mazhar Bey's house and that she wants to get a divorce from Adham.

The midwife Umm Moyassar examines Hamida and tells her mother and her sister, Mayassin, that she is pregnant. Murad is thrilled when he learns about Hamida's pregnancy. As Shahinaz quarrels with Murad, he kicks her out of the house, but she refuses to leave without her daughter, Zahria.

Adham collapses as his wife, Mayassin, is away from him, after which he tells his mother, Shahinaz, that he wants to go to Mayassin and patch things up with her so she'd return with him to the house. Jawad quarrels with Abu Tahoun.

Shahinaz forces Umm Moyassar to tell Murad that Zahria is pregnant. Adham goes to Mayassin to patch things up with her, which she refuses.

Mayassin reveals Shahinaz's plan and asks Umm Moyassar to tell the whole truth to Murad. Jamila returns to her father's house and tells her sisters that she is ready to face her father because she did not do anything.

Saadia goes to Murad and tells him that Mazhar was married to her and that his son, Adham, had her brother and her father imprisoned on false charges. Iftikar confesses to her husband, Abu Sharif, that she's the one who destroyed his house. Adham decides to confess all of his father Mazhar's crimes.
