Chief Abu Saleh (Saleh's father) grows suspicious of Satif when the latter disappears from the neighborhood. As Abu Issam divorces Sou'ad, he eventually decides to take her back.
Sou'ad admonishes Abu Issam for what he did to her. As Satif kills Chief Abu Saleh, Abu Shehab vows to avenge him and find his killer.
Abu Al-Nar reconciles with Abu Shehab. Umm Ibrahim (Ibrahim's mother) decides to have her son Ibrahim engaged to Dalal.

The people of the neighborhood learn about Abu Issam’s divorce from Sou'ad, and Abu Jassem takes his sister to his house, while Ibrahim divorces Dalal on the orders of his father.
Issam suspects that Ferial, Lotfiya's mother, is behind exposing his parents’ divorce. Abu Jassem expels Issam from his home.

Abu Shehab receives the weapons and asks the youth of the neighborhood to help him, but Abu Al-Nar intervenes and steals two weapons. Issam is released from prison after Abu Shehab intervenes.
Abu Shehab prevents Ferial from buying goods in the neighborhood and decides to punish her, but Abu Issam opposes Abu Shehab’s orders.
Abu Shehab plans to arrest Satif and succeeds in avenging the Chief and kills him. Ferial decides to do the impossible to get Lotfiya back together with Issam, but it's too late.
Abu Issam agrees that Bashir would marry Jamila and Issam would marry Hoda. As the wedding ceremony is held, Sou'ad is saddened by not attending her daughter’s wedding.
Issam decides to return to his wife. Abu Shehab and the youth are captured by the British, but Abu Hassan and the people of the neighborhood intervene.
