In the wake of Agag's death, Abu Sherif's (Sherif's father) feeling of guilt, leaves him to ask Abu Jamal to take the gold. The police fail to kill Abu Hejaz.

When it's revealed that Sabry is alive, Abu Rashed (Rashed's father) warns his children about Sabry's return. Abu Raslan (Raslan's father) asks his son to stop working with the French, but his son refuses.

Fearing that Sabry might return and kill his children, Abu Rashed asks his children to leave the neighborhood. When Fawzy asks his brother Abu Hejaz to turn himself in to the police, he refuses.

Sabry asks Shalhoub to bring Abu Rashed and his children in for investigation. Abu Rashed refuses to leave his house. Yassin moves in with Wedad and her sister.

Abu Rashed follows his wives' advice and leaves the house to avoid getting arrested. Abu Rashed tells his cousin, Abu Raslan, that he tried to kill Sabry in the wake of his son Agag's murder.

As Shalhoub starts looking for Abu Rashed, his attempts amount to nothing. Abu Al-Mout tries to impose exactions on the neighborhood's people.

Fearing his son Fawzy, Abu Raslan offers to let Abu Rashed stay at his abandoned house. Rashed starts working with Abu Hejaz.

As Dorriya starts taking advantage of Omar, she incites him against his father. Shalhoub tries to beat Sabry to the gold.

As Abu Sherif's faces financial trouble, Umm Radwan decides to get a job to provide for her family. The neighborhood people grow wary of Shalhoub.

Abu Hejaz decides to return to his neighborhood to look for Yassin. Umm Agag (Agag's mother) falls ill in her husband's absence. Sabry recovers and leaves the hospital.

Sabry returns to the neighborhood. Rashed gets shot. Wedad gets distressed after Sabry pays her a visit.

Abu Jamal decides to deliver the gold to the revolutionaries to use it to buy weapons. Sabry pulls out all the stops to find the gold.

Yassin confesses his feelings for Fadia. The neighborhood people resent Fawzy as he searches their houses without showing respect for anything or anyone.

Sabry and Fawzy plot together. Fawzy falls for Wedad. Abu Hejaz sets a trap for Abu Al-Murr and kills him. Omar robs his father to keep up with his wife's demands.

As Sabry searches the shop, he remains unable to find the gold, leading him to torture Abu Sherif to confess to its location. Umm Rashed (Rashed's mother) asks Fadia to wed Yassin in secret until the situation improves.

Abu Aziz delivers the gold to Abu Haydar. Salmou and Zakou escape and steal Awaad's money.

Abu Rashed unsuccessfully tries to kill Sabry. Abu Al-Mout quarrels with Abu Hejaz. Fawzy decides to help Wedad and Fadia find their mother.

Abu Rashed visits his son Yassin to check on him. Shalhoub continues to search the neighborhood houses.

Abu Raslan learns that Omar has been taking his money behind his back. Dorriya leaves the house. Abu Sherif dies of torture.

The neighborhood people learn that Abu Sherif has died of torture. Sabry tries to hide the truth about Abu Sherif's death.

Abu Haydar (Haydar's father) asks Abu Hejaz to marry Umm Radwan, but Abu Hejaz refuses. Dorriya decides to tell Fawzy that Abu Raslan is hiding Abu Rashed in their house.

Sabry asks Salmou and Zakou to kill Shalhoub. As Sabry learns that Fawzy has been getting close to Wedad, he decides to wed her.

Adel leaves Mona over her brother Fawzy's cooperation with the French. Shalhoub is killed on Sabry's orders.

Dorriya refuses to get back together with Omar. Yassin decides to leave Fadia and Wedad's house so as not to cause trouble for them.

Shaker weds Zuhriya. On orders from Sabry, Salmou monitors Abu Raslan in order to locate Abu Rashed.

Dorriya sues Omar, prompting him to separate from her. Fawzy gets close to Wedad and confesses his love for her.

Abu Aziz decides to wed Yasmine. Abu Hejaz prevents Abu Sakhr and Abu Al-Mout from attacking the neighborhood to impose their control.

Fawzy tells his mother that he wants to marry Wedad. Omar loses the lawsuit and decides to give his wife all her rights.

Hafiza learns of Shaker's marriage. As Salmou thinks about killing Sabry to get rid of his control, he asks Zakou to help him.

Abu Aziz weds Yasmine. Adel is upset that Ezzo has proposed to Mona. Raslan decides to wed Umm Radwan.

Raslan weds Umm Radwan. Wedad and Fadia's mother refuses to return with them. As Sabry searches the neighborhood people, Abu Aziz is forced to deliver only a small portion of the gold.

Sabry decides to get rid of Fawzy. As Zuhair tries to rape Amira, Satif decides not to go through with his marriage to her.

Umm Ahmed suffers a miscarriage after Bashira beats her. Abu Jamal learns that Zuhair has broken into Abu Rashed's house.

Omar decides to take Dorriya back. Sabry arrests Yassin and detains Wedad and Fadia.

As Abu Rashed gets arrested, Abu Raslan asks Fawzy to help him, but the latter refuses.

Sabry asks Fawzy to arrest his father. Fawzy turns on Wedad. Abu Hejaz gets the gold and delivers it to the revolutionaries.

Fawzy joins the neighborhood people in taking a stand against Sabry. Wedad kills Sabry. Abu Rashed and his family get their family home back as the family reunites.
