Umm Ammar (Ammar's mother) gets in an accident and passes away. Sanaa tells Salam her story and how she was raped by her grandfather's friends. She tells her that she fell pregnant and left the child at a foster home. At Salam's house, things grow tense between her and her husband over her career.
Salam meets Hadeel and learns how she lost her hearing when her teacher slapped her. She decides to help her find a job.
The corruption at the foster home is uncovered. Hadeel's family decides to sell the house for her operation. It turns out that the supervisor's negligence caused violence to spread among the children at the foster home.
Salam writes an article to expose the violence and torture that the children at the foster home have to endure.
Sanaa's brother wants her dead. The guard breaks Ammar out in exchange for money, and the police tirelessly search for the boy.
As Sanaa's brother stabs her, she is miraculously saved. It turns out that the guard at the foster home abuses the children and uses them for prostitution and organ trafficking.
