Atris refuses to help his son Mosbah with his education fees. Ahmed finishes his service in the army. A complaint is filed against the school principal, Kamel.

Ahmed decides to travel abroad to look for work, but he's prevented from traveling at the airport. Kamel and his family are devastated when they learn of the Egyptian army's defeat in Sinai.

Ahmed returns to the army ranks to defend his country. Sanaa asks Magdy for a divorce. Amina decides to collect donations to support Mosbah and his sister.

Kamel is interrogated about the political remarks he made at school, and he's distressed after he gets transferred to the public relations department. Sanaa insists on leaving the family house to stay with Magdy.

Hashem and Ahmed prepare to carry out an operation against the Israeli colonizer. Wagdy confesses his love for Moshira. Sanaa clashes with Magdy after she receives a job offer in Paris

Fekry plans to propose to Amina. As Wagdy and Moshira grow close, he discovers that she likes Hesham. Moshira's behavior and relationship with her male colleagues upsets her father.

As Kamel and Youssef meet with a group of friends at Youssef's place, they all end up arrested on charges of gamblings. Kamel denies the charge when he is questioned about it, and he confirms that his wife had nothing to do with his arrest. Magdy decides to go with Sanaa to Paris.

Moshira tells Wagdy to stay away from her. Ahmed's mission is a success, but he is martyred as he carries it out.

As Mosbah befriends Fathy, the latter lures him in to join an Islamist group. Tensions rise between the communist students and Islamist students, leading to several clashes..

Mosbah's colleagues try to pull him away from extremism. Youssef is rushed to the hospital after he has a heart attack. Fekry asks for Amina's hand in marriage.

Amina and Fekry pool their money together to buy an apartment. Fatma rejects Azza's suitor. Hesham lures Moshira to remote area and rapes her.

Fekry weds Amina. Kamel tries to save Mosbah from succumbing to the ideas of extremists and Takfiri (apostasy) groups.

As Moshira informs Hesham's father of what his son did to her, he refuses to help her. Samir weds Fathia. Kamel approves Azza's marriage.

Youssef adopts Samiha. Wagdy discovers that the exams are getting leaked to wealthy students. Moshira rebuffs Wagdy when he tries to rekindle their relationship.

As Morsy overdoses while alone in a hotel room, Moshira is devastated when she finds out about it. Latifa is arrested for being the head of a political organization.

Wagdy passes the exams for his senior year. Fekry talks to Amina about leaving the apartment and forcing Fawzya to pay money for it.

Latifa is released. When Mosbah harasses Azza and her fiancé, Kamel tells him to stay away from them and keep his extremist ideas to himself.

Wagdy starts working as a lawyer. The armed forces storm the Bar Lev Line. Fekry quarrels with Amina and Fawzya due to his wish to kick Fawzya out of the apartment.

Fekry refuses to divorce Amina and insists on staying in the apartment. Reda asks for Samiha's hand in marriage. Amina causes a scandal at Fekry's work after he asks for fifty thousand pounds in exchange for divorcing her.

As Moshira disappears, Wagdy looks everywhere for her. Wagdy is hired as a prosecutor. Amina is arrested after she assults Fekry.

Reda and Samiha wed. When Magdy returns from his travels, Amina and Fawzya discover that he has become an addict. Moshira joins Mosbah's Jihadist group.

Moshira weds Mosbah. The Jihadists' Emir grows angry with Moshira when she rebels against the group's extreme ideas.

Wagdy catches feelings for Sahar. When Samir applies for a loan, Fawzya refuses to help him.

Moshira refuses to have the Emir be the one to declare her married to Sultan. As she tries to convince Mosbah to go to a marriage officiant, she asks him to leave the group. Fathia threatens to expose Samir's corruption when he tries to divorce her.

Fawzya loses her job for taking a stand against corruption. As Moshira finds weapons and ammunition in the Jihadist camp, she renews her attempt to convince Mosbah to leave with her, but he refuses.

Wagdy discovers that he has been assigned to prosecute Hashem, his late brother's comrade in the army, on murder charges. Samir decides to wed Suzy.

Moshira discovers that Mosbah and Wagdy know each other. The Emir attacks Mosbah and Moshira, killing the former. Youssef decides to take Moshira in and look after her.

Moshira tells Wagdy to let go of her and move on, but he insists on staying in her life as a friend. The Emir blows up the coffee shop, killing Youssef.
