Abu Iskandar helps Kamel to escape from prison, and the warden cooperates with Ibn El Hayek and El Biltawi to confront Majed El Jabal after his assumption of the mayorship.
Ibn El Hayek requires Malik to give up the mayorship in return for paying his debt. Kamel tells Farah his story with her brother and how they were arrested on charges of spying for the Axis countries during the war.
Majed clings to the mayorship and refuses to give it up, while Aziz and his daughters resort to staying at his home under the pretext of their house collapsing.
The warden searches for Kamel in the village. Majed tells Shuaib about his old story with Rouhiya and how he killed her ex-husband by mistake. Ibn El Hayek is looking for Kamel to hand him over to the warden and improve his relationship with the latter.
Majed hides Kamel, and tries to force Zain to marry, but he refuses because of his love for Raheel.
As Kamel escapes on a train to Alexandria, the warden finds out and reports it, but the police fail to find him on the train.
The warden accuses Majed and Zain of smuggling Kamel outside the village, so Zain runs away to his aunt, fearing the police.
A mortgage bank representative threatens to place the land under the bank's control because of Ibn El Hayek’s debt. Aziz intervenes and saves the land from El Biltawi and El Hayek. The officer manages to reach Zain's hiding place.
Anis tells Raheel of his grandfather, Malik El Jabal, and their possession of the lands of the village. The warden chases Iskandar and Kamel, but the duo succeeds in escaping.
Aziz tries to convince Anis to marry Raheel, contrary to Majed's will. In a flashback, Rouhiya recalls how Aziz forced her to leave Majed and blackmailed her with the death of Samir.
As Farah expels Aziz and his group, Majed intervenes to stop it, and unknown assailants shoot Aziz.
Aziz is seriously injured, but escapes death. Aziz persuades Rehab to marry El Biltawi.
Zain receives an offer from his uncle to travel overseas to trade in Africa to obtain money and reclaim the land. Raheel suspects Majed's orchestrating the attempt to kill Aziz.
When Zain discovers the engagement of Anis and Raheel, he gets engaged to Rabia to get over his love for Raheel, who decides to go through with Aziz’s plan and take revenge on everyone.
Aziz informs the warden that Kamel is hiding in Shuaib's house, so the warden goes to the house with the force and searches for him, only to find out that Kamel has escaped again.
Majed reproaches Aziz for informing on Kamel, which he denies. As Aziz devises a plan for Majed, he makes sure that the latter killed Samir. Kamel has an accident that leaves his entire face disfigured.
Shuaib and Farah smuggle Kamel out of the hospital. As the warden succeeds in arresting Kamel, he dies due to his deteriorating condition.
As Raheel hints to Majed that she knows that he killed her father, he evades talking to her. Anis tries to impose his control on the land to regain it from Aziz.
When Iskandar's father dies, warden Talaat accuses Aziz of killing him, but he denies it. Ibn El Hayek asks El Biltawi to help him to keep Anis away from Raheel so he can marry her.
El Biltawi marries Rehab in a big wedding in the village. As Raheel decides to leave Anis, she goes to exact revenge on Majed for Samir, and he tells her about Aziz's killing her father.
As Majed goes to Anis after he disobeyed him and stood by Aziz, he gets shot and is taken to the hospital in critical condition. The warden tries to search for the perpetrator of the crime.
Anis tries to return to Raheel, and she refuses. Majed is discharged from the hospital after losing the ability to walk. As the years pass until 1949, Aziz's condition changes and he becomes one of the wealthy men of Nous El Bahr.
Aziz thinks, with Zain staying away from Nous El Bahr, that he has moved away from Raheel, as he looks forward to control everything.
After 7 years of absence, Zain returns to Nous El Bahr, so Aziz fears Zain’s marriage to Raheel and his control of her fortune. Zain refuses to help the people of Nous El Bahr or to return to Raheel.
Aziz devises a plan to entrap Zain by bringing Rehab closer to him after the death of her husband El Biltawi. As Rehab tells Zain about Aziz's plan, Zain asks her to marry him.
Majed refuses Zain's marriage to Rehab, so Zain refuses to obey his father's orders. Aziz plans to form a partnership between him and Zain. As Majed goes to confess to killing Samir and accuses Aziz, he fails to prove the matter to the warden.
The battles break out in Nous El Bahr between Majed's and Aziz's men, because of the marriage of Zain and Rehab. Anis dies. The warden devises a plan to entrap Aziz in Samir's case.
Aziz plots to kill Zain, only for Rehab to die instead of him. As the police surround Aziz, who threatens to burn Nous El Bahr, he gets killed. Majed recovers his lost land.
