Fouda is repeatedly blackmailing Otman about a secret that no one else knows. Tala'at Otman is chasing Nabila, Helmy’s daughter. Otman quarrels with Sayed because of his desire to join the Institute of Music. The Cairo fire breaks out. Mansour is arrested in a political demonstration.

Mansour gets out of prison after Otman asks for Helmy's help. After the deployment of the army on the street, Najat stays in Otman's house. Sayed is arrested while he is with the dancer Biha.

Mansour is suspicious of his father’s relationship with Helmy. Otman's family resents his plans to marry Mansour to Ahlam despite the mutual love between Mansour and Najat.

Fouda chases Shawq and tries to force her to marry him, while Helmy approaches the dancer Biha. Otman reveals to Mansour that he is the one who arranges the secret meetings of the Free Officers. Mansour refuses to help Shawq out of fear of Fouda.

Helmy and Burhamy meet at the nightclub. Otman hands Mansour a box containing Al-Maghazy family's belongings. Sayed introduces Shawq to Helmy to protect her from Fouda.

When Otman and Fouda fight, Mansour intervenes and kills Fouda in order not to reveal the secret, and he turns himself to the police. Helmy marries Biha a customary marriage. Otman resorts to Helmy to save Mansour.

As Mansour refuses to reveal the secret, he is sentenced to ten years in prison. The Egyptian revolution of 1952 breaks out. Helmy avoids Otman, and then he communicates with one of the officers.

Helmy becomes different with Biha and evades her. Otman calls off Mansour and Ahlam's engagement and makes her marry Ali, while Najat promises him to wait for Mansour until he marries her. Ragab's mother vows revenge on Mansour.

Otman entrusts Jaballah with the box until he delivers it to Mansour, while Biha continues to search for Helmy. Burhamy helps Shawq to buy a coffee place. Tala'at and Nabila reconnect.

Burhamy proposes to Shawq, and Otman quarrels with him for that. After Biha reaches Helmy, he hits her and threatens to kill her to get her to stay away from him. Tala'at urges his father to let him marry Nabila.

Burhamy demands that the inheritance of Al-Maghazy be divided; Otman dies after their quarrel. Biha discovers her pregnancy. Sayed quarrels with Tala'at over his desire to marry despite their father's death and the family disputes.

Shawq accepts Burhamy's offer despite her love for Mansour. Burhamy's family is enraged with this decision, which strains the relationship between him and his children. Nuno relays to Burhamy Attia’s plan to interdict his father.

After believing that he's hiding their father's money from them, Mansour and Sayed go to Helmy to help them obtain their inheritance. Biha gives birth. Burhamy continues to search for the box; he hands Sayed an amount less than his inheritance in exchange for giving up his rights.

Tala'at gives up his share after receiving the money and deceives Sayed by saying that he received the same share as his. Shawq and Sayed get married without Burhamy’s knowledge. Tala'at asks Nabila to marry him.

After Sayed and Shawq's wedding, Burhamy throws her father out of the agency, so Jaballah leaves with Al-Maghazy's box. Burhamy marries Biha. Mansour is released from prison.

Samiha warns Mansour about Ragab's desire to kill him as revenge for killing his father. Mansour is surprised by the dispersion of his brothers and the fact that Burhamy covets his share of the inheritance.

Mansour fails to reach Sayed. Samiha reprimands Ali for failing to help Mansour. Mansour is surprised by how cold and arrogant Tala'at is with him. Mansour sees a vision where Jaballah tells him that his inheritance is with him.

Jaballah returns and begins searching for Mansour. Mansour visits his former cellmate in prison after his release. Shawq returns to Al-Aasr Market after a long absence to announce that she's divorced and doesn't know Sayed's whereabouts.

Burhamy admires Shawq. As Helmy promises Mansour to help him complete his studies, it becomes clear to Mansour that Sayed is a political detainee. Mansour receives the box and opens it in front of his family; he distributes the old money among them.

Burhamy gets angry that Otman hid money from him so he abuses Samiha. After Tala'at avoids Mansour, Helmy orders him to approach Mansour so that they could keep an eye on him.

As Mansour and Najat get married, he's surprised that Tala'at is trying to get close to him as his siblings visit him after the wedding. Tala'at gets angry when Helmy monitors him. As Shawq asks Mansour to search for Sayed and stay away from Helmy, she refuses to disclose the identity of her husband.

Helmy threatens Shawq with death if she exposed their marriage; she remembers being arrested by the police with Sayed and surrendering to Helmy because of her fear of him. Tala'at discovers that Helmy is behind Sayed's imprisonment. Sayed is released after a call from Tala'at.

Sayed returns to Al-Aasr Market in a miserable condition and refuses to talk about what happened to him. Burhamy gloats over his misery. Tala'at's wife gives birth while Helmy quarrels with him for helping Sayed. Helmy meets Shawqy without knowing that he is his and Biha's son.

Helmy visits Mansour, warns him against causing trouble, and offers him a job. The siblings are reunited, and Mansour seeks to find those behind Sayed's imprisonment.

Sayed tells Mansour about Helmy’s visit to him after his marriage, his attendance of the singing sessions with them, and his quarrel with Helmy after he visited his home in his absence, which causes a quarrel between him and Shawq.

After Sayed and Shawq reconcile, she tells him that she's pregnant. Helmy forces him to divorce her and imprisons him. Mansour promises Sayed to take revenge on Helmy. Al-Maghazia family goes to celebrate Tala'at son. Helmy meets Biha.

Sayed resumes playing music. Helmy repeats his warnings to Biha. Shawq visits Sayed without Helmy's knowledge and quarrels with him because of his failure to raise her daughter Noura. Helmy scolds her after finding out.

As Mansour tells Helmy that he knows of his marriage to Shawq, he demands that he gives him Noura. Mansour wants to resort to court to expose the person responsible for Sayed's imprisonment. Samiha asks to reconcile with Ragab in exchange for paying his father's bloodwit.

Helmy’s assistant informs Ragab of Mansour’s whereabouts in order to kill him, but he misses. Najat discovers that she's pregnant. Sayed refuses to sign a complaint to send to Abdel Nasser. Mansour reports Ragab to the police.

Tala'at refuses to believe that Helmy is behind the attempt to kill Mansour. When Helmy is surprised by the failure of the operation, he kills Ragab and claims that Mansour killed him. Shawq warns Mansour about Helmy’s plan.

Mansour escapes and turns to Jaballah while Tala'at tries to find him. Helmy forces Sayed to sign a false confession regarding his political activity. Sayed confirms Helmy’s story to Tala'at. Burhamy is surprised by the nationalization of his property.

Burhamy is devastated by what happened. Tala'at mediates for Biha to meet Helmy. After Shawq discovers Mansour's whereabouts, she informs Najat and Tala'at.

Helmy proposes to Biha that Al- Maghazy family testifies against Mansour in court in exchange for stopping the nationalization. Burhamy has a vision of Otman; he throws Biha out after she confesses to him that Shawqy is Helmy's son.

Attia and Ahlam decide to testify against Mansour. Ali divorces Ahlam and returns to the abandoned house of Al-Maghazy. Helmy threatens Shawq with his gun to prevent her from escaping. Tala'at meets Mansour.

Sayed returns to confess the truth about Helmy's injustice to Tala'at. Sayed and Samiha return to live in Al-Maghazy’s house. Burhamy dies while Attia gives his testimony in front of Helmy.

Tala'at fails to prove Helmy’s marriage to Shawq after Helmy makes Shawq travel to Alexandria. Hemly turns against Tala'at, who returns to Al-Maghazy’s house.

As Mansour meets Najat, he depairs of Jaballah's vision coming true. Attia brings Biha back to the house to intercede for him with Helmy. Helmy doubts that Shawq is the one who told Tala'at of their marriage.

Biha meets Nabila. Mansour returns to Al-Maghazy's house in disguise. As he reconciles with Attia, he meets his brothers and moves some furniture. Nuno becomes suspicious of the movement in the house.

Helmy captures Som'a and then lets him go. Nuno relays to Helmy what happened at Al-Maghazy's house. Jaballah dies. Shawq refuses to tell Mansour Helmy's address in Alexandria.

Mansour is arrested. During his trial, Sayed and Shawq testify against Helmy. Helmy goes on trial, and Sayed's family is reunited. Biha confesses to Helmy that he is Shawqy's father. Jaballah's prophecy is fulfilled, and he finds his share of the fortune.
